  1. From what I have read online, it seems like I would be able to create a windows 10 recovery flash drive, run it on any computer and just skip the activiation, and that should allow me to run an unlicensed version of windows 10, only having a few customization restrictions, annoying activation prompts and a watermark to deal with. Is this about right? Well... I'm building a new PC, and my old Laptop has a retail version of Windows 10 that was upgraded from windows 8. It is linked to my microsoft account. One added detail that I don't know weather is relevant or not is that my laptop is from Brazil, where I was living at the time (am now in Canada). So... If I want to transfer my account over to my new computer, and run unlicensed windows on my laptop, can I? And if so, will it require me to remove my account from my laptop before adding it to the PC? How would this work? Thanks to anyone willing to help.
  2. Thank you all for the help! I'll go with this, just because I think the vega11 integrated chip seems to be more than enough to handle basic rendering, and I can always upgrade later on. That 4-core 3.7GHz processor paired with 32GB of 3200Mhz RAM will surely solve my headaches trying to navigate the Zbrush viewport whith a model over 5 mil polys. I will, however, go for this cheaper case Thanks for the tips regarding the rebate, I'll look into that before I close. You guys are amazing! Thanks again!
  3. Wow, ok, so it might be best to spend a bit more. PCpartpicked says there might be a compatibility issue with the B450 motherboards, though... I do plan on upgrading in the future anyway, so maybe I could swap out that GTX 1660 for the RX 570, and the B450 mobo for an X570? 4. Thanks for replying. I don't really know much about computer harware, so I was under the impression that if I would need to choose between a CPU with integrated graphics or a CPU without it + a graphics card... Could you recommend a CPU and a motherboard?
  5. Despite me having slightly upgraded my old Dell laptop, it simply isn't cutting it anymore. It's an Inspiron 5437, running an i7 4500U 1.8Ghz(2 cores) CPU , 16(2x8) GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM, 500Gb SSD, Geforce GT 740M. So I'm thinking of going for a Desktop PC, and I imagine I won't need to spend a whole lot to outperform those specs... My budget is from CAD$ 800.00 to CAD$ 1,200.00. Also, I'm wondering weather I could stay as close to the lower end of the budget but have the ability to invest in upgrades afterwards. I don't need a beefy GPU. In fact, I don't even need a graphics card at all, since Zbrush only relies on CPU and RAM. At most, a cheap card that would allow me to render my projects would be fine. I also don't care about RGB lights or fancy cases. Function over form all the way... How is this?
