  1. Hello, Ive been trying to fix my PC for a few days now with no fix. Everytime I turn on my PC, it will boot into windows normally, and then around 5 minutes later, will go into a black screen and then start boot looping. Sometimes it will boot loop for a few minutes and load back into windows, sometime it will boot loop and then load into windows recovery, and sometimes it will boot loop and then just get stuck on a black screen. Tempertures for CPU are fine, it sits between 30-40 C. Im not even installing anything or doing anything, the PC will just crash when idle. Its also a fresh install of windows so there is not sofware installed. I have tried nearly everything I can think off to do. I have swapped nearly every part out, CPU, RAM, Motherboard and PSU, with no fix. I have deleted everything on my hard drives and installed a fresh copy of windows on each drive, with all of them doing the same thing. I have rebuilt the system from scrath, taking everything out and putting it back in to make sure everything is plugged in correctly. Im not really sure what to do now as it gives me no errors as it does not BSOD. I dont really know what to check either at this point. When it started going wrong, I had just installed a brand new CPU and motherboard - Ryzen 7 5700x, ASUS ROG B550-F Gaming WIFI 2. Any help to even figuring out what is causing it to go wrong would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Yes, without the network, the pc stays on and dosent do anything. I have used different networks and they do the same thing.
  3. Hello there, I have recently upgraded my cpu and motherboard to a ryzen 7 5700x from a ryzen 5 2500x. However when turing on the pc, and connecting it to internet though Ethernet or wireless, windows will just crash to a black screen. The pc then will start boot looping for around 5 minutes until it gets to the windows recovery options. None of these options do anything to help solve this issue. Steps I have been though - I have deleted everything on the drives and installed a fresh copy of windows. I have deleted all drivers and reinstalled them. I have updated my bios update. I have resat both my cpu and ram. Im not really sure now what to do and how to solve this issue. Any help would be much appreciated.
  4. Hello all, Ive recently been facing a problem where playing games keeps radomly shutting my PC down. I play games such as CSGO or COD and radomly though a game, it will just turn off. Sometime it fully turns off with no lights on the PC and no power though any of it and somtimes I just lose image so I can still hear what IM doing such as hearing friends on discord, and they can still hear me, however, I cant see anything on my screen and cannot do anything but turn the pc off. A few things I have done are chaing my power settings in control panel so that its on high performance. I have checked heat levels but both my CPU and GPU do not go over 65C when it turns off. I have reseated both my RAM and GPU to make sure they are seated correctly. I have also taken my CPU out and put it back in to make sure that its in the correct way. Checking event viewer shows that I get a cirtical error which is Kernel-Power. This shows what time my PC keeps shutting off. Im not sure what to do as I dont want to spend lots of money trying to fix it. I have already replaced my main SSD to see if that was the problem. I have an RTX 3070 Ti, Ryzen 2600x, 32GB 3200Mhz Hyperx ram and 850W power supply. This is all cooled by a custom loop.
  5. Hello, I have just recently got this motherboard after using another MSI B450 motherboard. This last motherboard worked fine with everything. The M.2 drive is SATA. This however does not show up in disk management. With the wifi card, it does need drivers that I need to install, however when installing them, it says installed correctly but does not change that I have no wifi or see any connections.
  6. Today I have installed my new B450 MSI Tomohawk Max 2 and I’m having a few issues with it. When I boot into windows, I can’t see my m.2 drive anymore in file explorer or disk management and my wi-Fi adapter card is also not showing up or connecting to the internet. When I go into bios, it shows no drive in the m.2 slot and when I look at the motherboard ports to see what’s plugged it, it shows the same and nothing is connected to the pci-e. However when I try to flash the bios, and go back into the settings it will show both. But then booting back into windows, it will go away again. Is there anything I can do or is it a faulty motherboard?
  7. Sorry I didnt give a clear answer. I basically brought a bundle that was pre built. It only had the stock cooler for AMD so i don’t think it needed the brackets. I’ve had this pc for around 9 months now but because of the hot weather, I brought the cooler. The only thing it has is the backplate for the cpu.
  8. I brought it with the cpu and ram and the cpu cooler.
  9. I mean like the ones that come with your mother board
  10. Hiya, I’ve just brought an IOU for my pc. It’s the cool master ML240l. I’ve noticed that you may need the brackets for the AM4 version. As I brought a few parts of this pc together, I didn’t receive any brackets with it. Is there anyway I can make makeshift ones or maybe get them from somewhere. Many thanks
  11. I have brought an extender for the network card so I can move it to the bottom. It’s the Gigabyte RTX 2060 OC edition. The case was one that my friend gave me so I’m not sure what it is but the front is glass so it does restrict a lot of the air flow.
  12. I may of taken a picture and seen the dust. I’ve only just taken apart the card a few days ago and put some new thermal paste on it. The red card is my wireless network card and I’ve brought an pci-e extension cable for it but now I don’t know where to put it. I know the fans work as I stuck my finger in both of them
  13. I would love to go down the water cooling route, but apparently it’s not worth the money for what it does. I also have a new cpu cooler with 2 fans for the top of the case
  14. Hi guys, Over the past few days, the weathers been really hot. I’ve had a problem where my graphics card keeps reaching a temperature of over 90 Celsius. I’ve got a few fans on the case and the front is removed so it can cool down but it still shuts down. What can I do to stop it from overheating. Many thanks, Reece
  15. Hi guys, These few weeks I’ve been messing around with my pc and buying different things for it. I have a ryzen 5 2600x and had a GTX 1060. I have now upgraded to a RTX 2060. Should this GPU be paired with this CPU. I have 16gb of memory as-well. I don’t know if I made the right choice and now need to upgrade my CPU. Many thanks
