  1. I thought as the only thing I've disconnected are the pin connectors but now im second guessing myself as the old power supply is no longer powering up the computer. Let me go through my MBs manual and see if i missed something EDIT: No everything is plugged in correctly. This is really frustrating because at first all i did was remove the existing pin connections and now nothing works /:
  2. Tried a new power supply (Corsair CX 750M) and it still doesnt work. The pwr led is flashing faster and brighter now but thats about the only change
  3. Alright thx. I'll try swapping it out and see if that fixes the issue
  4. I'm sorry i should have mentioned in my original post that i have tested it with the old PSU and it does indeed turn on the computer. I mean heck as soon as i turn on the switch in the back of the old PSU the built-in rgb from my MB immediately starts up which it doesnt do that with the new PSU. Is it possible that the new PSU can start up with the tester but still be bad and not power on the computer?
  5. Not sure what you mean by 8-pin eps. My cpu takes 8 pins is that what you mean? Both the cpu and 24 pin are firmly in. 24 pin is flush and the 8 pin is completely in as well and is a 4+4 on the board to a 8 pin on the psu. As for the power switch i believe it is but my MB also has a power switch button on the board and pressing that also doesnt power it on
  6. So recently i got a new power supply because my old one didnt have the 8 pin pcie power slot my new gpu needs. The system was working before the new PSU but after i hook up the new one the PWR LED on the MB blinks about every second. I keep reading that it may be a bad PSU and i really hope its not because i got it brand new from best buy. Here are my specs: OS - Windows 10 64-bit MB - Asus Prime Z370-A II GPU - NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super SC Ultra Gaming CPU - Intel Core I7 8700k RAM - 8GB DDR4 (x2) PSU - Evga Supernova 1000 G+ (1000 Watt) Again the PWR led on the mb blinks but the system does not power on at all. I also hear a faint beep the comes with the led. I used a psu tester and when nothing is plugged into the PSU and i use the psu tester it powers on and the fans of the PSU turn on but when i have it plugged into the MB nothing happens, no POST beep or anything.
