  1. Didnt know these existed, pretty cool. But when you split along its lentgh i cant re seal, it just becomes straight, like an spaghetti
  2. Hi, i have this headphones that work great but one of his cables is "melting" or falling apart, see in photo. I had another one just like this do this before, tried to fix with insulating tape, that small duct tape for cables, didn't work. The headphones work great except for this issue, I believe this is some planned obsolescence bs, lasted for about a year just like the last one. Anyway, is there a material I can use to replace the cable rubber? Another kind of tape maybe?
  3. Hey man! thanks, yeah I forgot about the PSU, I have a 850 one that is getting reused too. Googled the parts and Im betting for the Ryzen one, also a way cheaper case, but that website is pretty cool, thank you
  4. Hi! I did not consider an AMD setup, thanks, can you look at this? I saw a Ryzen 7 5600 that was way cheaper than my i9 And this Ryzen 5 that was around the same price but everything else was more I believe (speed, ddr type, etc) I cut down to 32GB ram but it is 5200Mhz and I can buy two more in the future. Its around the same price, I can even cut the cases and Im in the green. Any advice on this one?
  5. Hi, Im doing an upgrade of my PC, multimedia, video editing, motion graphics, Im going for a Just the necessary parts because Is quite expensive here, I used a local online store and some googling to get the those parts (some LTT videos on RAM and Liquid Cooling) So, Im planning on Buying Processor, Motherboard and RAM. I'll mainting my SSD, HDD and GTX 1070 I want to know if these parts are compatible, I was going for a faster RAM but saw that this i9 supports up to 3200, Its a kinda complex thing I would like some advice on this budget and technical specs Budget (including currency): 855 USD (have to change to local Gs) Country: Paraguay Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Adobe Suite mainly (photoshop, premiere, after effects) Blender. Games pretty standard (Fortnite, Team Fortress, Dishonored) I have and Ultrawide 2560x1080 so no 4k gaming, but probably 4K, 6K, editing (my current setup struggles with 4k projects) Other details: There are two cases in the excel but they are not critical, is the technical stuff that Im lost on. (the upgrade would be in the aquarius one, just in case is important)
  6. So 19V is THE most important, thanks The 2.4A can be close in any direction? like more o less?
  7. We had a heavy rain in my country and my monitor power adapter ended up submerged. There are a lot of this type of adapters here, and by this type I mean cables with the rectangle box thing. So I was wondering if I should look for a specific number/model or type to get a replacement. Outside of straight up getting one for this specific model, which I have not found yet. Like the adapter says 19V == 2.53A The Monitor says19V == 2.4A Any advice?
  8. Well, I'm new in this hardware customization, and one of my first performance upgrades came in the form of an extra cooling fan, and a airduct connecting my AC to my CPU Case, to push cold air inside. (Not a rich guy, but very passionate xD) The air current is not so strong nor cold enough to create condensation, is a gentle cold breeze. When the CPU is idle it seems to reduce temp very dramatially (measured with speccy) But when doing tasks still show high temps (like 70-80 C°) So I was wondering if my efforts to push cold air inside the case are misguided, as in should I concentrate in pushing the hot air out instead? (Dissipate) Right now I have the CPU fan blowing to the back, a fan in the back of the case blowing to back also, and a fan connected to the airduct pushing cool air inside (from the top) Here's a pic of my setup and my CPU cooler I'm far from a high end setup, be nice. I appreciate any comments
  9. Hey guys, new member here. I have my PC setup with 5.1 audio through a DVD/Home Theater (Panasonic SA-PT480) I bought it secondhand from a bankrupted store (they were using as display), so it was "cheap" but still pretty expensive to me. The DVD player stopped working, did some electric sounds on the speakers and died, so... I was wondering if I could bypass the DVD player (with is pretty banged up) directly to the speakers, some kind of 5.1 audio card or something. Here are some pics of the player, speaker plugs, etc. I connect the PC to the DVD player with an optical audio cable.
  10. I bought a Samsung Smart TV (model in the pic) about two years ago, and it's starting to get really slow, sometimes even close crashes and I don't have many apps (Netflix, Amazon, Spotify) So I was a wondering if there's a way to unoficially upgrade a smart TV, not Processor but maybe an SSD or RAM or something that makes it work a little better. In my country smart TVs are quite expensive yet, so I'm willing to experiment upgrading like a pc if possible
