I recently put together my first pc and I tried to put a usb with windows on it into the system to boot of that and get windows setup but when I boot off of the usb with windows it goes to a blank blue screen and stays there for 30 seconds then the pc just turns off. I have tried a few things but nothing has worked so far. If you might know anything it would really be appreciated. Motherboard is ASUS crosshairs VIII hero WiFi with a 5800x which I updated the bios to the latest version if more information is needed I am happy to give it.

I bought a pre built Alienware system for £1000 a year ago. It has an i5 8th gen, 1050ti, 8gb ddr4 ram (single slot) 1tb hard drive. I plan to add some more ram but my focus is on the graphics card as it seems to slow and appears to be bottlenecked a fair amount but I wouldn’t know what to upgrade it to when it comes to value for money as I would like to see the biggest improvement possible without spending too much and I’m unsure about an amd system so I would like to stick with nividia... any suggestions?
