  1. Haha.. yeah. And im using stock cooler too. Im not really pc-enthusiast. I'm more to just gaming and working with whatever i have. Which is why I only talk about GPU swapping or upgrade all. Although CPU swapping do cross my mind but I tend to not go that route. Blame Ryzen hype train. lol However, i do understand the relation between CPU and GPU because of bottleneck. My biggest concern about slapping new GPU on this old rig is because of bottleneck. My main goal is to get stable 60fps 1080p at high to ultra setting. Cyberpunk 2077 just happen to be my biggest hype game for this year and i would like to upgrade to play it.
  2. Stock value coz I'm not really know how to overclocking and not really like the risk of it. I agree with the main culprit is my current GPU but as for changing my CPU with another intel stuff is kinda... yeah... But still i will take this into consideration. Thanks man for the input.
  3. Actually my very 1st thought when i want to get RTX for my rig. But right now everyone like "Ryzen man, Ryzen all the way" which make me like "yeah, if i want to buy another intel stuff, better off i upgrade all with Ryzen" then before i knew it, my budget goes up. lol. This actually many of my friends tell me to do. Wait then buy because of new AMD graphic card and Nvidias 3000 series will bring older card's price down. Also, yeah, maybe im not budget gamer. lol Thanks man. so if i understand this correctly, the lowest i can go with GPU is with 2070s if i want to just slap some GPU which can be compare to 2060s + r5(which is the upgrade all plan) I dont really care about RTX thing, i just want the smooth max setting 1080p with stable 60fps which is why i think either get GTX 1660TI or just shoot for RTX2060 if i really want to upgrade all. Im ok with high setting without Ray-tracing. Thanks. Keep the advice flowing man...
  4. Hi, I'm new here so i need a some advice. I have very old rig: PSU: 650W Corsair (forgot the model name) CPU: Intel Core i5-2500 GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti SSD: Kingston A400 240GB HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) RAM: Corsair DDR3 1333MHz 2x4GB MBD: Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 I'm looking to play Cyberpunk 2077 and heard its need some big spec. Usually I just slap some new GPU when my old GPU cannot play the game. I tend to do same here, slap some RTX Super card and the call it a day. But just realized this pc is really old perhaps its time to build the new one. So far there is no problem with this PC if i use it for working like light programming stuff, browsing web and office stuff. But when its come to gaming, its show its age. So here i am. Asking you guys for advice, should i just slap new GPU or perhaps its time for me to upgrade all. As for budget, let's see... Suppose i choose to upgrade all, i will go with Ryzen 2600 with 2x8GB 2666MHz RAM and RTX 2060 or GTX 1660TI. (yeah, im budget gamer). but if i choose to just slap some GPU, perhaps i can go with RTX 2070 Super or maybe RTX 2080 Super. Which i wonder will i cry later on because of bottleneck this old PC will give me. I just wanna play the game badly with high to ultra setting at 1080p and 60fps really...
