yeah, it was free and dident need the part but im mad that i fried it

i got a ASUS Striker II Extreme from a friend but i connected the front header from the case to the ADH header on the motherboard and it shut off. now i wont post og do anything but the lights are still on the motherboard. ive tried with different ram, disconnect ewerything, reseat the cpu, different psu but nothing response from the motherboard. is there anything i can do or is it just trash now ?
