Hi, I was thinking about buying a Razer Blade Stealth GTX 4K and a Razer Core X GPU enclosure and was wondering if my GPU choice would be suitable taking into consideration of possible CPU bottle-necking and the performance loss over Thunderbolt 3.
(The laptop CPU is a quad core Intel Core i7 1065G7)
Considering they're way cheaper now, I was thinking of getting a GTX 1080 Ti used? Or should I wait until RTX 3000 comes out and buy used RTX 2000's or is this overkill?
I'll mostly be playing Rainbow Six Siege and CS:GO at 144hz at home and generally want to be (sort-of) future proof by buying a high end GPU now.
My budget for a GPU is max $650 USD.
