i am looking for monitor, my preferences are as follows: 24”, 1080p, IPS, 60hz 100-200euros (less is better).
i will be doing like 60% light coding, light web design, a lot of internet browsing and other general task. 40% of my time will go to gaming, all kinds of it, but nothing competetive. (I have a ps4 with good sony tv, so im a console peasant also)
Now i was looking at Dell monitors, then found this Philips 246E9QDSB for 120euro. So i was almost decided to go for it.
Then i saw that AOC 24G2U (144hz) is available again for sale in my country for 176euro.
I am not sure i need the hertz, since i will be using gtx1650 super. But the displayport (gsync) and fully adjustable stand sounds good. The concern is the screen, there are some people saying it puts pretty big strain on the eyes while browsing or something like that.
So the question is, what would you suggest? Maybe there are even better choices for mostly general use, alongside non-competitive gaming?
