  1. Okay so i did try ddu for the nvidia driver. That didn't fix it but afterwards i also went and properly cleaned out MSI afterburner and rivatuner. I had "resinstalled" before, but this time i got rid of every trace of it (some registry files) and installed again and now it seems to work. I still though want to OC; a stupid software issue shouldn't stop me. If everything works fine ill close the thread. Thanks for the quick help!
  2. Alright I'll Try that. What do you mean by 2D clocks? I haven't heard of that
  3. So Yesterday i was fucking around in MSI afterburner on my asus 1050 ti "phoenix". I've had this card now for around 2 years and it's pretty much been plug and play and good to go. it usually runs at its base clock 1291 or something lower like 635 mhz on idle but in gaming it used to turbo to 1690 or 1760 mhz on its own. Got pretty good performance, no issues. had a perfectly working custom curve on msi afterburner and everything (Using RTS for monitoring). yesterday i just tried to OC it a bit, and step by step i got to 1931 mhz. (using the OC test on msi). at 86% confidence i didn't like it though so i took it down, and pressed scan just to know more. i was watching youtube and i'd moved the scan down but it was still in the foreground so i didn't notice. i pressed pause and the last one or two seconds i saw tells me that it started "stopping scan" and then my screen went green. the windows green that was my theme colour. i waited like 40 mins and then did a hard reset. PC booted up fine but when i went to play csgo later i got bullshit 25 fps. and i noticed while everything else was fine, the mem clock on the gpu was at 405 mhz??? its usually above 3000 so i have no idea whats going on. Reinstalled drivers, rebooted pc, took gpu out and back in, reinstalled msi. Nothing. So i though i'd swing by the linus forum before going for warranty support this MAY not be the right way to do this because i'm very noob but im posting here Any help appreciated
