I was just playing some Path of Exile with MSI Afterburner on display just to see how its running and the cpu temperatures are normal like around 45 to 49 celsius and all of a sudden it rapidly spiked to 207c and then rapidly go back to normal temps. I would assume its just the software reading the temperature wrong for that brief moment since there was no throttling and the fan didn't speed up. Is this anything to be concerned about or is it just a bug that happened?
I just want to know if this would be safe to just leave or if it is better to remove the paste that leaked from the side in the picture? The thermal paste is Arctic MX-4 it's non conductive so I would assume its not a big deal to leave it.
