  1. The main reason why I want to opt for Intel and I might be wrong about this is the CPU overheating etc.. I currently run a ryzen 5 3600 in my main rig and it can get loud and hot real quick. The thermal paste and airflow are fine but from my exp, they tend to run hotter than intel. I'm not sure if this is the case with laptops. I'll look into more options around that price range.
  2. Yup, 16gb is base line and for anything else, I've got 64 on my main pc so that's not an issue. I was mostly wondering about the cpu since I've never encountered P and E cores (I used to be into tech a few years back but stopped after mby gen 10). Appreciate the in depth reply
  3. I feel like a broken record at this point but, I once again am here to ask for support. Recently, I've been looking for a laptop, I have a pc but I find myself looking for something that I can work on since my pc is mainly used for ''wasting time''. The laptop would be used for coding, 3d design and trading (a lot of tabs..). I came across a good deal on a Dell Latitude 5430 with an i5 1245u, 16gbs of ddr4 3200Mhz, 256GB nvme SSD and it also has a neat touch screen. The processor in question has 10 cores 12 threads but only 2 are performance cores. I haven't come across a similar processor in my past and I was wondering if it's still good aka how does it compare to other processors in that price range. If anyone has any experience or any thought, it would be greatly appreciated. Here's the laptop link https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-laptops/latitude-5430-laptop/spd/latitude-5430-laptop/gctol5430usvp?redirectTo=SOC Currently on sale for around 700$
  4. The processor is rly that much better? And wb 8gbs of ram, is that enough? Thank you for the replies!
  5. Bosnia&Herzegovina. Budget is around $550
  6. Hi ya'll I often find myself here when I'm deciding on what to buy next. While I do most of my research by myself, I usually want a 2nd opinion. Currently in the market for a laptop that would be used for programming, 3d design and video editting. I've found myself leaning towards Asus since Macbooks are a bit pricey here and the rest dont fit me (I would however take suggestions). The 2 laptops I'm currently looking at are at the same price with the main difference being that the Zenbook 13 is refurbished and the Vivobook is new. Leaning towards the Zenbook cuz of specs and the crisp OLED but would love to hear ya'lls thoughts. Specs are below: Zenbook i5-1135G7, 16GB LPDDR4X, 1TB NVME Vivobook I5-1235U, 8GB DDR4, 512GB NVME. I guess the Vivobook is an option cuz its new and cuz of the better processor but for my purpose, is it worth losing the additional ram and storage?.
  7. Budget (including currency): 700 Country: Bosnia&Herzegovina Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Spellbreak, Forza horizon 4, new Avengers game Other details Well, I've recently started playing Spellbreak and my prebuilt i5 3470 ain't doing it for me anymore. I play it on 60fps but I get ocasional drops when I'm fighting. I've been planning this build for a while and I finally have enough money for it but I wanted to see if there are better options/more budget ones. Here's the list CPU:Ryzen 5 2600 GPU: RX 580 8GB MB: Aorus b450 M Ram: G Skill 8x2GB 3000Mhz kit Case: Just a plain $30 case PCU: Corsair VS Series, 650W Storage: 1TB HDD 240GB NVME SSD That's pretty much all but I'd like to confirm if these parts go well together and if I should change some of them. Thanks in advance!
  8. What do you think about 2200g or the ryzen 5 2600 for now and then 3100 when its available?
  9. Thank you soo much guys! I've been using intel for a while now and since the AMD world is unknown for me I didn't know where to start from. I forgot to add that in my thread as I've been seeing a lot of ryzen builds lately that run better and that are newer. i'll look into it a little bit more but it seems that the ryzen 3 looks much better than the older intel cpus.
  10. Yea,I've updated it.Its around 400-500$. I was thinking about a ryzen build also since they're newer for this price range. Since its my ''1st'' project I need some help choosing the parts and everything.
  11. I don't plan on using it for a lot and I do not want to spend too much money for something stronger. I don't want to splurge on a build that wont be used at full potential. It's mostly for work and some gaming My budget would be around 500$
  12. Hi guys, Currently in a progress of building my new pc and I can't decide. Should I go with a motherboard with a 1150 socket and get a i5-4670k or it 4770k.Or should I go with a 1151 socket with i3-6100 or i3-5300. Also what cooler would be good with those CPUS. THANKS!
  13. Okay thats why I asked.I still do not know what mobo should I get or what cpu.
  14. Budget (including currency): 600BAM (350$) Country: Bosnia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warzone,Rocket league,League Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Sup guys, Currently I own a pretty decent budget setup with a Gtx 1050 ti and a i5 3470.The one thing that I do not like is the motherboard and the PSU.They are lenovo stock and I don't have a lot of options on them. I'm planning to sell that rig and to buy something new.I'm thinking of going with the sameish gpu so a 1050 ti or a 1650 but I want a better CPU and a better motherboard. Now the budget is not a lot but believe me in our country you can buy a 1050 ti for 100ish$.The main reason I'm posting this is that I've never actually bought a mother board and I do not know a lot about them.I know the sockets and everything but idk which one is the best.I'm thinking about getting an hdd and an ssd (240GB) again around 30$ here.I need to get some advice on the motherboard the cpu and the PSU unit. Also if you'd like you can advise me on the GPU if you find anything better than a 1050 ti or 1650. I'm planning to change that since this old rig has been with me for a while and I think its time for an upgrade.
