I want to add more HDD storage to my pc. Thing is, i'm out of hdd slots to mount them since my case only has 2 3.5" bays. Is there anything like an external enclosure that can connect into the internal sata ports or to a pci slot instead of usb?

I will have a look into rainmeter (i have used it before but i deleted it because potato pc). Thanks for the tip @NinJake. I am using wallpaper engine as well so now i just need to hope they both play nice.

I am a sucker for sleek aesthetics and functionality and i feel like my desktop is looking kinda dull. i was wondering if there was any custom software with the capacity to do something like showing/opening a folder as a tooltip/pop-up type thing and allowing to open the items inside directly OR open the folder itself. Anyone know of anything like this?
