I currently have a system running 16GB of RAM. Gskill Trident z 2x8gb 3600mhz CL16 Timing 16-15-15-35 I am trying to get more ram for the PC, but can't find the exact same ram sticks. So the question is, is it ok to use the same specs of ram but made by different manufacture? i.e. corsair, team group, or other brands. Is it ok to use ram with same 2x8gb 3600 mhz but with different timings. If I get a set of ram thats 3600 mhz with CL 16 but timings are like 16-16-16-36 or something like that.. will it work? Or can I like change the original set of ram timing to match the slower ones. Thanks for your time and help.

Hello, So Im setting up wake on lan on PCs at work. We have a few computers here. I set them up all the same way, Bios WOL enabled, magic packet enabled. So here is the issue. 3 of the PCs will WOL even after I "shutdown" the computer. 2 PCs will not WOL after shutdown but can do it if its in "sleep" or "hibernation", which is fine bc i can deal with putting pc to hibernation instead of shutdown. So here is the problem. 2 of the pcs WILL NOT WOL after sleep, hibernation, or shutdown. I've double checked the setting in bios and made sure WOL is enabled. Magic packet is also enabled in device properties. Mind you that all of the pcs are differnet manufactures. Some are pre-built like Dell, HP or Lenovo. Some are custom built with store bought parts. Any help is appreciated. Thank You
