Have tried that - twice

When I double click on my legitimate Lightroom setup file (.exe) it spins for a bit and then does nothing. It's not lagging - think it just won't open. Can anyone help? P.S. I have Windows Pro x64

I have some old epson original cartridges back from when i was dumb enough to buy them but they are completely dry. Will they still work?

My Epson TX600FW has been displaying a "Ink cartridge not recognized" error for quite sometime. I don't want to have to buy from Epson due to the overpriced cost but I really want to use this printer as it is such a good one. I have researched online and apparently I need to downgrade the firmware but since my model is not a common one - and as far as I can tell has been discontinued - I can not find an older firmware option ANYWHERE! Would anyone like to take up the mission. I just need a download link - I am competent with the rest!
