  1. @Tristerin in the cmd the ‘x:\sources>bootrec/rebuildbcd’ command came up with 0 windows installations. Does that mean that the windows install is totally corrupt?
  2. Sorry for the delay! Tried to remove the other drives and still BSOD’d on windows startop. Things I’ve tried in the meantime. using the system recovery thing: the sfc utility in cmd. (Said no problems with integrity) remove function and quality updates; both failed. Restore the system to a previous state - also failed. also tried to run the memtest without fail, but I’ve read a lot of people saying it isn’t even reliable. at this point the only thing left that I can think of is a clean install since I’m not able to boot into windows at all anymore. Either the windows files have been fucked up royally or my system is fried somewhere lol.
  3. @Tristerin @Guiltyx update! for some reason I’m now able to force ‘boot’ from the drive in bios, however i crash into a bsod( pic below). if I let it try on its own, it opens automatic repair where it states it failed. to be troublesome I’m danish, but what I gather is the ‘Stopcode’; CRITICAL PROCESS DIED means something bad.
  4. CMOS removed for more than a minute (just to be safe) and got this screen. Seen it once before - I’m now back at not being able to boot to my nvme m.2 bootdrive.
  5. I have now tried repairing. Whilst it did boot after I got multiple warnings about apps not working. I though I would try to reboot several times to check the validity of the fix. im now currently stuck on a BSOD loop. its progress, I’m not sure if good, but progress nonetheless.
  6. Hello tech savvy people! this is my first post as I usually leech from other people’s disparity and trouble but this time I haven’t been able to find a solution. A couple of months back I bought the ‘Corsair Force Series MP510 480GB M.2 SSD’ to upgrade my rig from 2016(Asus X-99a motherboard) I installed windows 10 on, wiped my old ssd and added an extra HDD for more storage without a hitch. It have worked without any problems. Then today out of nowhere windows froze just whilst being on the desktop, no apps running. I rebooted it and I have not since been able to have a stable run on windows for the exception of one time which I used for stress testing my system to find flaws and generally troubleshoot. I had no problems stress testing either the cpu, gpu, memory or other components. I did not stress test the drives as I thought the fault was on other hardware. since all of this, I found that I’m not able to force boot the drive from the bios anymore as it displays the ‘ticking’ underscore line similar(or exactly) to what it shows whenn you try to boot to a drive without a windows install. I’m now stuck on a ‘preparing automatic repair’ loop which I cannot get into. If that doesn’t display I’m stuck on a ‘post Post’ blank screen. I’m willing to try almost everything and will supply info and pics if required - I’m not sure what is relevant lol. sorry for the messy post btw.
