  1. Yesterday everything was fine, however, today when I loaded up my PC my WiFi connection won't show up but others do as well as when I use my hotspot it shows up. My Wi-Fi is also fine on other devices

  3. Thanks man, really appreciate the input. However, this experience has really put me off with gaming on my pc, made me hella anxious to even turn XMP or use pre-selection GPU OC.
  4. Thank you tho for your input, very strange, had to agree with legislative reason with MSI for a refund. They tried saying they could only provide replacement but I hit them with my state and federal policy on refunds/replacements. i just find the majority of tech industry really unfair and they try to get away with misinform to save them a buck.
  5. Yeah, I replaced the Mb, and everything works fine, so I’ve ruled out all other components being faulty
  6. So I’ve had a new mb replaced so all is well no was just looking for possible answers to why this happened. From memory, I first had this issue the night before it not posting, where it only entered bios and it also said Sara 1 and 2 were empty/not connected. So I turned it off and on, then it booted to windows but froze. So booted again but didn’t post only fans on pc and GPU as well as lights turned on. removed cmos and put back in after a few minutes. Booted to windows but froze after a while. Then went back to not posting and this stayed until having mb replaced and the substance was found on the mb that wasn’t working
  7. I did try repairing myself, at the beginning, it would only boot to the bios, so I left it till the morning to fix, I then got it to boot to windows in the morning but turning it off then back on, but it freezes then went back to bios only. Then repeated to enter windows but wouldn’t post, only lights and fans started. So I removed cmos and put it back in and it went to windows but froze again. Then went back to not posting.
  8. Well the pc wouldn’t boot, fans, lights would turn on but no keyboard, mouse or monitor would turn on. Was only charged for the replacement of the motherboard and having windows/bios setup Bc it was easier Bc I’m not the most tech savvy. my system was an MSI MPG z390 gaming plus MB, 16gb ram, 2070 super asus strip GPU, i7-9700kf cpu. once the MB was replaced everything worked so the issue was the motherboard. But have been given a refund agreement from the original MB Bc it’s only 9 months old i also tried to repair it myself, removed CMOs battery for a while to reset Mb, booted but would freeze after 5 mins or whenever u tried to access files on the file explorer. Then it went back to not booting.
  9. The issue was that it wouldn’t boot, fans and lights would start but no mouse, keyboard or monitors
  10. Hi everyone, the other week my pc stopped booting, so I took it to a repair shop and they found that (attached image) there is a oil like substance on the heatsink of the chipset, there also seems to be a bit leaking through to the back of the board via that screw. I have since replaced the board and everything works fine. Have even looked over my GPU and it is fine. EDIT: forgot question - what would the substance be from? thank you for any help guys
  11. Unfortunately not as it is all cabled underneath my desk
  12. I dont use wired as my PC is in a different room
  13. I ran the speed tests from my phone in the same room as my PC, my laptop can also pick up, up to 18Mbits in the same location.
  14. I have an ASUS Network card and I can get up to 47Mbits on download speed but however I only can upload to 2Mbits from my PC. When I run tests on other devices I get around 18Mbits. Does anyone know why this may be?
