I do like this build and i could just use the R9 for it. Asus did not mention this MB when i talked to them about a good one for the R9..

I know i do not need to spend much on this pc for what i need.. It's a bit of a vanity project for me as well.. Most likely the last system i will ever build.

#1 I will be sticking with the R9 3900X.. lol the rest is all optional. lol

Gaming, VR gaming, movies/shows pretty much it. Not sure about the res an all. System im on now is just hooked to a TV.. lol Will be upgrading soon enough tho. will have it hooked up to 2 or so monitors eventually

Been a long time since i have built a pc. My old one is finally giving up and can no longer keep up with the new games. So i am looking to build a Ryzen 9 3900X system for around $2000. I will be getting a Valve Index to use with this as well. I am looking for some ideas, Suggestions, any knowledge of today's parts. this is where i am at now.. Still need a Graphics just so many choices.. Thank you all for any input and your time, JP
