Hey All, I recently picked up a Netgear ProSafe (GSM7248R) 48-Port Gigabit Managed Switch for crazy cheap for use on my home network. The only problem is it is incredibly loud due the stock delta fans installed within it. I'm looking at replacing them with some Noctua A-Series Cooling Fan Blades with AAO Frame, SSO2 Bearing (NF-A4x10 FLX) that I have heard are really quiet. I just want some confirmation if these fans will work with my switch. Has any tried them or heard if they do? Thanks heaps

Hey, Thanks for your reply, it will just be 8tb running in raid 1. It has a i5-4590 and 8gb of DDR3 and will only be used by me sort of as a place to dump all my old projects, (around 10gb each). I understand it wont be crazy fast but what sort of speeds could i expect? Cheers

Hi, I'm currently building a nas purley to archive projects, it has decent specs but I have no way to connect it to my router. Will connecting it to wifi, (with a decent neetwork card), be painfully slow to use over wifi and/or ethernet? I'm using Google Wifi. Thanks heaps
