  1. I don't know much about it. As I said in my first post, my friend recommended me the product so I added it to the list.
  2. Using the computer primarily for school work and programming.
  3. After a while of looking over reviews and trying to make everything compatible, I've come up with a build that I think will serve me well: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i5-9600KF 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor $207.99 @ B&H CPU Cooler MSI CORE FROZR L 71.27 CFM CPU Cooler $54.99 @ Amazon Motherboard MSI Z390-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $125.79 @ Amazon Memory G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $89.99 @ Amazon Storage Western Digital Green 120 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive $54.98 @ Amazon Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $44.99 @ Adorama Video Card MSI GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GAMING Video Card $329.99 @ Newegg Power Supply SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $97.45 @ Amazon Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1026.17 Mail-in rebates -$20.00 Total $1006.17 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-02-19 19:04 EST-0500 I have also been taking a look at this case for the build (found off of a video, looked good): https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-MasterBox-Ventilation-Tempered/dp/B07PJ18S78?tag=gamersnexus01-20 I am still in need of a good keyboard, mouse, and monitor to finish this build off. Already have a brand new windows10 home key too. I don't need any fancy 144hz monitors, as long as it works well (i would like to have a 2 monitor setup if possible), i'll buy it. Basically, all i'm asking is for suggestions on what to buy, if there are any compatibility issues, or if there are some cheaper alternatives / better buys to what I already have. Any feedback is appreciated (Also, the computer will not really be used for gaming. More of a work computer, however a friend recommended the RTX 2060 so I just added it to the list. Feel free to change it!)
  4. Hello, recently I've been trying to create a work setup for myself. I'm not looking for anything expensive (no 144hz monitors, crazy gpus, etc..), however, I would like my computer to have decent memory and good processing power. I've been looking around the internet for cheap setups and I have a few on my mind, but i've decided to come here before i make any final decisions to see if any of the people reading this have good setup ideas. I'll have just over $700.00 to spend on the setup, and am just looking for a little insight. (ill buy from ebay) thanks
  5. yeah, ive priced everything w/ ebay and it all adds up to about $520. Thanks for the help I bought a warranty with the computer which is why it costs a ton.
  6. Hello, recently I have found myself spending way to much time on my computer, and I feel like it is a good time to stop. I am looking to sell my entire computer (with mouse, keyboard, etc.) and need help coming up with a decent price. My peripherals are: Mouse: MAD CATZ R.A.T 6+ (~$60.00; less than 1 month old) Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow x Chroma (~$120.00 at time of purchase; about a year and a half old) Monitor: ACER standard 144hz monitor (~$200.00 at time of purchase; about a year and a half old) Computer Specs (was a pre-built system, original price around $800.00): GTX 1060 3Gb (non OC) core i5-8400 (locked) 8 Gb RAM 128 Gb SSD 1 TB HDD (~931 Gb) Came with CPU Cooler, Case, Fans, and a decent motherboard. The system is about a year and a half old, and has wireless capabilities (the wireless function on the computer is outstanding). Inside the case is a little dusty, but I can clean the computer before I sell it. I'm just looking for an estimate on how much my system currently is worth. I would like atleast $500.00 for the build, which I believe is possible. Feel free to ask questions. The computer still functions well, gets above 144 fps consistently on cs:Go at max settings (no motion blur) Appreciate any feedback, insight, etc..
