  1. Hello, Just bought a new memory Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb (2x8) dual channel DDR3 1600 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D2LGRPG for some reason it works only at 1333Mhz (BIOS and CPU-Z data) BIOS settings - optimal defaults MB - Gigabyte https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-Z97X-UD3H-rev-10#ov CPU - i4790k (non-OC) I tried XMPed it (Profile1) - computer wont boot Is there a way to fix it or should I just return it? Thank you!
  2. Hey guys So I have 4790k and z97x-u3dh-cf MB Cooler Zalman cnps5x in CPU Z under the Stress test CPU drops from 4400 to 4200 Idle its 4400 BIOS settings - optimized defaults How can I fix that? I want my 4790K to show the bbest performance possible Also if you have the same CPU - please let me know your overclock settings (voltage, multiplies, etc) and Mhz achieved Thanks!
  3. eventually I decided to leave my 1080ti I tested both 1080ti and 980 ti - they the same FPS and stuttering in DayZ deathmatch game with like 30 people playing So I believe this deathmatch mode is not optimized any way and anyway you ll get low fps which was confirmed by deathmatch mod creator With 980ti I have 99 load while with 1080ti I have like 50 In almost every other game I see significant difference in performance in favor of 1080ti
  4. oh man you are so right I had like 100C under pressure with stock. Now changed to Zalman cooler - its about 60-70 now ok thanks!
  5. 1.300v VCORE and 47 multiplier for all cores? any other things to disable/enable/adjust? I have problems with 4.6 and even 4.5 - windows gets freezed. For some reason all I can get stable is 4.4
  6. So I got 1.420V and 47 multiplier Total is 4.7Ghz . Idle temp ~40C all cores Is that good?
  7. so what I just did is I overclocked my CPU to 4.4Ghz and I got much better frames in DayZ. Less lags, less stuterring. So far so good. The problem was in CPU as some people mentioned
  8. how did you overclock your CPU to 4.7? BIOS? I have v-sync enabled in Nvidia panel but disabled in games - is that alright? Have no issues with tearing
  9. ok so will I get same framerates or at least in almost every game 100+fps with HIGH settings? (not fan of ULTRA/EPIC settings) I wanna make sure my CPU or Memory won't bottleneck 1080ti in 1440p
  10. by putting more load on GPU for 1440p? Well if I need to change CPU with MB and most likely a memory - I d rather stick to 1080p gaming then
  11. I can stick to 1080p gaming thats fine - I want to utilize my setup closer to 100% I feel like 1080ti made things worse on 1080p
  12. won't the CPU be a bottleneck in this case? I don't wanna buy a 1440p monitor to see the same low GPU or/and CPU usage and no particular FPS inrease
