  1. So, I got this card back in June and right after the return period expired, the card started making noise which sounded like the fans were hitting some plastic on the gpu shroud and I managed to get rid of that noise by putting something under the fan holders which hit the heatsink and produced the noise. My first problem is that the card is hella loud while playing games and it's peaking at 75-76 degrees Celsius, is there a fix for this? My second problem is that fans are spinning up and down while the temperature is at 49-50 degrees (0db mode) and I could use some help to make the fans always spin so it doesn't produce that noise.
  2. *UPDATE, 30.3.2021.* Unfortunately, after downloading like 3-5 games on it (around 150 GB) the hard drive just freezes if I try to install something else on it. I guess It's going to die sooner than I thought.
  3. I just plan to download my entire steam library on it & play it (around 1TB of storage) and then transfer the steam library to the new 4TB one when I get it.
  4. So I found this 2TB HDD in my Old PC and scanned it with Hard Disk Sentinel and it says it has 16% Health, is it safe to use it for downloading & playing games for a limited time (2 weeks) until i get a 4TB one? I plan to transfer all the data from this one (if it's safe to use it) to the new one which I'll get in like 2 weeks.
  5. So I have Aorus Engine installed and I used to have a layout which lets me choose one of the 4 Presets (OC, Gaming, Silent & User Mode). My GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super OC (2 fan version) Now it just keeps entering Professional Mode. My question is: Can I somehow re-enter the Simple Settings?
  6. I didn't buy it in the end because it was out of stock right after that post I made so I went with the CX550M.
  7. Well, I'm 100% positive it's coming from the PSU, because the old PSU (the one I replaced with CX550M) didn't have that sound.
  8. The noise is present for like 1-1.5 seconds only when you turn off the computer using start menu.
  9. It's not brand new, it was bought back in June, but the sound was still present back then.
  10. This is the monitor I own: https://www.asus.com/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/TUF-Gaming/TUF-Gaming-VG249Q/ When I bought it, it arrived with High Speed HDMI with Ethernet Cable Only which I used for a month until I bought this DP Cable (the only one I could find at my local PC Store) : http://www.s-box.biz/en/artikl/6312 So the issues (while connected via DP) are: 1. Screen Flickers black sometimes when I have multiple Windows open (File Explorer and YouTube for example). 2. Slow Alt Tabbing (takes a like 3-4 seconds to go to desktop and 3-4 seconds to go back into the game), while connected via HDMI, it goes to desktop instantly. 3. I use my keyboard for adjusting volume while in-game, when i press mute button on the keyboard, screen goes black and comes back in like 2 seconds. My GPU is GIGABYTE 1660 Super OC (3x DP 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0b) Monitor has these inputs: 1x DP 1.2, 1x HDMI v1.4, 1x VGA
  11. I thought that in the beginning first, but I cleaned it and it's still there, so it might be what @jonnyGURU said:
  12. Ok, thank you for the info, I thought there was something weird hapening with the PSU, but I guess it happens to some models.
  13. It's definitely the PSU, I can 100% confirm that, and I've also thought It was like a violent fan stop that goes from like 50-60% fan speed directly to 0%.
  14. I also have a Gigabyte GPU - 1660 Super from the Windforce series and it makes the same sound, unfortunately this happens to be a problem on ALL Gigabyte GPUs.
  15. Is this sound normal? Skip to 0:22 to hear the sound when the PC turns off. My specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 RAM: 16GB DDR4 GPU: GIGABYTE 1660 Super OC PSU: Corsair CX550M 80+ Bronze Psu.m4a
  16. I didn't touch anything except unscrewing the fans so I could put plastic under the fan mounts to reduce GPU Rattle. Well, my fans are connected directly to the PSU, so I can't exactly see the speed of the fans, but during gaming, if I put my hand behind the case warm air is coming out a lot.
  17. I own the exact monitor model and I can say it is amazing, the only thing that bothers me are a few stuck/dead subpixels on the monitor.
  18. I made a quick drawing so I can make it easier for you, here is how the things are arranged in the case
  19. Cleaned it last week, so there probably is, but not a lot, I plan to clean it tomorrow again.
  20. I don't mind hearable, it's that it sound like something is breathing but can't breathe very well.
