Hi, I am looking for a motherboard which supports both a PCIe x16 for graphic card (RTX 3080) and a PCIE x8 for a video capture card as below. I was finding the B660M, Z690 etc... none of them can have the x8 lane required by the video capture card. The video capture card is DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/decklink/techspecs/W-DLK-36 Requirement: PCI Express 8 lane generation 3, compatible with 8 and 16 lane PCI Express slots. Ideally I want Intel CPU. Thanks

Hi, I got MSI B450M Mortar MAX, Ryzen 3800x, and HyperX 64G ram hx432c16fb3k2/64 in MSI BIOS i am using profile 1, DRAM should be 3200Hz, and i can see the same in command center below. However, in Ryzen Master, it shows the memory clock as only 1600hz, is it something wrong? Also, I realize that the CPU temperature is different in two software, as you see below 35C vs 30.45C .. any idea? Thanks

Sorry it may be a dump question... In MSI QVL list for Mortar motherboard, the Column of DIMM 1/2/4, what does it mean?? As in the screen cap, I am searching for 64G with 4 slot configuration, but seeing some model only has 2 ticks , some has 3 ticks in that column... Thank.

One of my friend told me Asus is better than MSI in terms of cooling. However, from Tier list the MSI Mortar Max is higher tier than Asus TUF Pro (tier C vs D) is the list more focus on power supply? How would you comment on the durability ,cooling , and the heat generated by the board? Thanks.

Oh, 20% heat is really a lot to me... I think I may step down to 3700x then... Performance wise is 32g 2*16 better or 64g 4*16, given the same ram ? (If Ignore the capacity ) Yes I will have 2nd drive, I have old SSD Samsung too 512Gb. Also I mainly use NAS to store massive data. PC is just for processing fast in this case. Thanks
