  1. Maybe I’ll try BIOS update but I can’t even lower the Ram frequency. It’s stuck at 2133 and I can’t change it to 1866 or 1600 for ex.
  2. So this is mostly just an issue with the CPU? I’ll give 2666 a try in the morning.
  3. Build is: MSI b450m pro-VDH max Ryzen 5 1600 XFX Radeon 5700XT Thicc III whatever 4x 4GB Viper Patriot 3000mhz RAM corsair 650w PSU Samsung 970(?) SSD tried enabling XMP/amp and using those profiles and neither actually changed the speed. Also tried manually changing the speed, voltage, etc.. and nothing was actually doing anything. It would save as settings but nothing reflected that. BIOS has not been flashed but everything boots fine so I didn’t think it needed to be. Thanks in advance.
  4. Is there a way to preserve my current windows installation now that I already have everything installed and updated again?
  5. If I unplugged the old drive an ran startup repair would that work?
  6. Now that that train has left the station what else could I do instead?
  7. I have a new SSD that I installed windows onto. I am ready to completely wipe my old SSD and just use it as backup storage. The old SSD, D: has an EFI and a Recovery partition on it, while my C: does not. What is the best way to go about adding an EFI and Recovery partition to my C: and removing it from my D:, and then completely wiping D: and replacing with one singular partition? Also to be clear, I am booting to windows boot manager every time I start my PC and the D: has an entire windows installation on it and I can actually boot from this drive to go back to my old windows from literally earlier today. This is my disk management :
  8. So I should just use the XMP profile that overvolts the DRAM the motherboard has already?
  9. What does overvolting DRAM or RAM do as well, I have my RAM set to it’s clock speed (3200), and my XMP profile had the DRAM voltage set from 1.15 or something like that to 1.35v, could I do this?
  10. I just really didn't know what other brands were actually decent products
  11. Budget (including currency): 110 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cooling my CPU Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have an asrock b450m pro4 + ryzen 9 3900x, I'm not the best with judging clearances and stuff like this but the NH-D15 says its 140mm, and the case has a 150mm clearance if I understand. So it should fit right? https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NH-D15-chromax-Black-Dual-Tower-Cooler/dp/B07Y87YHRH/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=Y0GKAIR6LBRZ&keywords=noctua+nh-d15&qid=1674422154&s=industrial&sprefix=noctua%2Cindustrial%2C100&sr=1-2-spons&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFWUzg4QlVTMjhPWjQmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAxOTkyMDEzQjFWREpZRUI1VjUxJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAzOTAxMDQyU0lIR0lFVk5VVzdTJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
  12. Is this indicative of something to do with my network or a different situation all together? I can see this light from the inside of my PC case as well.
