  1. Hey, So, I've bought the new Razer Blade 4090 16" and it should be arriving early March. I have a M1 MacBook Pro which I frequently use and will continue to use. Both of these devices have support for Thunderbolt 4. My peripherals: Wireless In-Ears = Logitech G Fits Wireless Mouse = Logitech G Pro SUPERLIGHT (Important to note that the mouse is wirelessly connected to the PC using the receiver in the mouse-pad mentioned below) MousePad & Wireless receiver for mouse = Logitech PowerPlay Keyboard = Keychron Q1 V2 Monitor = Alienware AW3821DW 37" (3840x1600@144hz) Side note: I will also have need for connecting a Meta Quest 2 and using it in Link Mode (only with the Razer Blade). Docking Station I've looked at the CalDigit TS4, and would have two of these, one for each laptop. KVM I've looked at Level 1 Techs 1.4 DP KVM Switch for x1 Monitor & x2 Computers. Execution I plan on connecting the receiver for my G Fits, my keyboard, monitor & mouse pad (which is also a charger and wireless receiver for my mouse) to the KVM. Then route the cables from the KVM to each docking station which in turns goes into the Thunderbolt 4 of each Laptop. I've done a lot of research on this, and this is what I've come up with, however, it's a lot of money, and I've never done any docking station & KVM build before, which is why I'm asking. Is everything mentioned here compatible with each other? I think so, but I can’t say for sure, also, will I be able to run my monitor at 3840x1600@144hz with this configuration on both computers? Thanks for giving this a look and helping out, I truly appreciate it!
  2. Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be available in sweden, and I'd rather not ship it from somewhere else Seems like the only alternatives I have for 2TB is: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB, its 3rd gen, although more expensive than the Corsair one. Kingston KC2000 2TB Seagate FireCuda 510 SSD 2TB Intel 660p 2TB or for the 4th gen: Corsair Force MP600 2TB Gigabyte AORUS NVMe Gen4 SSD 2TB Seagate FireCuda 520 SSD 2TB It's surprisingly limited now that I look at it, it's strange, I've never experienced a limited offering before. Anyhow, all the 4th gen M2s are backwards compatible and will work with the CPU, all that would happen is the speed would be limited, right?
  3. No, I honestly had no idea! Which m2 would you recommend instead? EDIT: Although, it's backwards compatible right, so there should be no issue running it? Just that it wont get its full speeds, it would just be capped? EDIT2: What does that also mean in the long run, would I run into any issues buying a CPU which only supports gen 3, this "late" in its cycle going forward? Thanks a lot for bringing it up, I appreciate it!
  4. Great! Well, define "need" haha, I'm reusing a 2TB HDD as well, where I'll store raw asset data from work, project files, and stuff like movies. Then I'd prefer to use my 2TB SSD for all games, work tools and windows of course.
  5. Hey fellas, I'm currently planning on build a new monster machine, the only thing I'm reusing is my MSI DUKE GeForce RTX 2080 Ti OC. This will also be my first ever water-cooled build, so I'd appreciate if you could take a second look at my cooling choices. What I'm planning on purchasing at the moment, excluding the cooling loop, here is the loop. So, do you have any tips for improvements on this build? I have four demanding use-cases order top-down with the highest priority on the top. 1080p esports-gaming at 360+ frames with the new Asus 360hz monitor that's coming soon (Mostly CSGO, and second hand OW, not expecting 360+ in OW though). Modern VR gaming at 120-144hz Modern AAA gaming on 120hz (might run an HDMI to my TV and go 60hz 4K HDR later). Large project game development, including most demanding pipelines such as offline renders, lightbaking, large codebase compilation, and asset creation. Thanks in advance, I appreciate any help I can get!
