It supports the C2Q Q9550 witch is similar and there's also people who have already tried to run a moded E5440 and had success, like I did without the my GTX 1050

Hey, So i have an old system with a C2D E6750 paired with a GTX 1050 that i decided to upgrade to a quad core processor. Since i could find a good deal on a Xeon E5440 i bought it. When i installed it the system turns on, fans spin but i either got no image or it takes forever to boot and the video is like rendered from top to bottom of the monitor and the bios takes two of this cycles to fully load a page, in each page. The thing is: i tested without the graphics card and everything seems fine, tested with a Geforce 8600GT and everything seems fine too. Do you have any suggestions of what it could be? System Configuration: Processor: C2D E6750 / Xeon E5440 Mobo: Intel DG31PR with Bios version 071 Graphics Card: Asus Strix GTX 1050 OC 2Gb RAM: 2x2Gb DDR2 800MHz Storage: 1 - 240Gb SSD + 1 - 250Gb Sata 7.2k rpm PSU Model: LC-8500BTX
