  1. Hello world. I have tried everything I can think of to get CTR to work and I keep getting either a generic Aggregate Error or an error that my CPU isn't supported. I have tried v2.0 RC3, and 5 as well as V2.1 RC5. I have done my best to make sure all my bios settings are correct as well. I am posting the last logs I have from v2.1 RC5. Can anyone help me figure this out? System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at A.c7ef8ec682dd21d60b7ea8e49e2ff83f2.c5c2452607c2665392a3543b056d8caa4() at A.c7ef8ec682dd21d60b7ea8e49e2ff83f2.c851a92f7e153dde284accde57e5e21c4() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Execute() --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.ThrowIfExceptional(Boolean includeTaskCanceledExceptions) at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Wait(Int32 millisecondsTimeout, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at A.c7ef8ec682dd21d60b7ea8e49e2ff83f2..ctor() ---> (Inner Exception #0) System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at A.c7ef8ec682dd21d60b7ea8e49e2ff83f2.c5c2452607c2665392a3543b056d8caa4() at A.c7ef8ec682dd21d60b7ea8e49e2ff83f2.c851a92f7e153dde284accde57e5e21c4() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Execute()<---
  2. Anyone have any idea if that 10-20% will directly translate to loss in power for rendering?
  3. My MOBO is an ASRock X570m Pro4. I have a Ryzen 5 3600X so it is Matisse and supports PCIE4.0.for this MOBO. I just picked up an Gigabyte Geforce RTX™ 2060 MINI ITX OC 6G (rev. 2.0) ... However I also have a EVGA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER SC ULTRA already... I am wondering if I can install both GPUs and if they will both work... use case is for lings like Davinci Resolve that can take advantage of multiple GPUs. I am unsure how ti interpret the specs for the PCIE slots and how they relate to these GPUs cause the GPUs are all PCIE3.0... I would put the 2060 in slot PCIE1 and the 1650 Super in slot PCIE3 PCIe slots: PCIE1 (PCIe 4.0 x16 slot) is used for PCI Express x16 lane width graphics cards. PCIE2 (PCIe 4.0 x1 slot) is used for PCI Express x1 lane width cards. PCIE3 (PCIe 4.0 x16 slot) is used for PCI Express x4 lane width graphics cards.
  4. That's a good idea... looks like I should get a new PSU regardless... thanks!
  5. Fair... I am not sure what you mean by RTX Voice being handled by the same cores as encode... I was thinking that if anything the 2060 would AT LEAST be used for RTX Voice... I think I would be fine also encoding on the 2060 at that point, as I have seen others trial it already.
  6. I will probably use Premiere, would you happen to know if it can utilize both GPUs? And yea, I kinda figured that. So it more comes down to the editing question then.
  7. Picked up parts for a new machine for 1440p 60fps gaming and streaming. ASRock x570m PRO4 AMD Ryzen 5 3600X Video Cards Geforce RTX 2060 MINI ITX OC 6G (rev. 2.0) EVGA GTX 1650 Super SC 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3200Mhz EVGA BQ 500W 80+ Bronze Semi Modular Raijintek Styx case 4x Noctua NF-A12x15, FLX 3-Pin case fans. Using the stock CPU cooler. Ok so I am torn... Should I use both video cards in the following scenarios: When streaming games (single PC setup) the 2060 handles games and probably encoding (or should I off-load the encoding to the 1650 super?) When streaming educational stuff (this is a dual PC setup) either card can handle encoding but the RTX will be used for RTX voice which I will definitely be taking advantage of. When editing, use both cards for better processing (not even sure if this works with two different GPUs so that I still need to research regardless) Or should I just sell the 1650 super? On the PSU, I will likely be upgrading that and definitely will if I choose to use two GPUs.
  8. Hey all, LONG time LTT subscriber, first time Forum user and post. I am a design engineer and CAD manager working remote out of my home office. I need to upgrade my Samsung LS29E790CNS/ZA 27" 1080p ultrawide to something substantially better for my use case. I am not a gamer so some of the high end displays probably have TOO much to offer. My focus is in the quality of the image (specifically for vectors, line work, texts and then basic 3D rendering), productivity and quality of life. I am finding it very hard to select a reasonably priced (not the cheapest and certainly not the most expensive) option to look at as I feel less than knowledgeable on all the features and panel types. Can someone make some solid recommendations? Just remember that I prefer my setup to be usb-c / thunderbolt 3 based as I am often grabbing my laptop to travel. My specs: Lenovo P52 Xeon with Quadro P2000 Primary apps: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Excel, PhotoShop. If you think I need to provide more info for a better recommendation, just let me know.
