  1. Do you think the 5700xt is enough to pair up with two 1440p monitors?
  2. I've recently done pretty well on daily fantasy winnings and my two children are now of an age where they're interesting in computer gaming. I've taken these two signs as a good time to hand down my current system which has been great and without issue (AMD 2700, AMD 480) to my boys to share, and build my new system. Currently the games I play are Heroes of the Storm, Civilization 6, Out of the Park Baseball (simulation), eventually Warcraft 3 Reforged, and when I get nostalgic, I'll fire up Starcraft 2. Clearly I'm not chasing the newest AAA titles. Ideally I'd pick up two new matching monitors (currently I have a 1440p 144hz and a 1080p 70hz). I'd want 144hz, and I do prefer 1440p, but I'm not married to it. Nothing bigger than 27". With all that in mind, what do I need for a graphics card to handle this. I'd only be gaming on one monitor, And while Heroes of the Storm runs currently for me roughly 100-120 FPS on the 1440p, I'd like to remove that limit. I know that if I go back to 1080p, it'll be fine. I'm unsure if having a second 1440p monitor if that'll cause some issues. Typically when I'm playing I will have a youtube video playing, or just having various work stuff that I'm monitoring. My budget is pretty flexible. I could spend $1,000, could spend $2,000... If I wanted too I could spend more. But, I'm kind of a thrifty guy and knowing that I don't need 4-5 years out of the system (by time I build again in 2-3 years, my youngest child will probably need the next hand me down.) I don't want to spend crazy money for the 2080ti that I don't really need. If I can get the 120 FPS as a minimum I'd never notice the drop. When games get closer to 60-70 I do feel a difference. I was thinking of sticking with Ryzen leaning towards the 3800x over the 3900x, and debating between the 2070 SUPER and 5700XT, also leaning AMD. All the other pieces I'm not super concerned about, I'll buy whatever necessary to not bottleneck my machine. But I will take suggestions on motherboards, monitors, etc if people have experience. I appreciate all of your opinions! Thank you
