  1. Yeah I've mostly been looking at corsair or evga as they are the names I know more when 1st built a pc I got a psu with a case and thought it was a good deal until a flame came out of the back, that taught me not to go cheap on Psu's lol
  2. So my new system will be.. Ryzen 5 3600 Tomahawk max 16gb vengeance ddr4 Pure steel case ( 6 fans) Msi Gtx 1660 ti gaming x 1tb barracuda hd 250gb data ssd ( not sure which yet) And 2 external USB drives So I've used various psu calculators and gotten various answers I'm guessing around the 600-650 mark would be suitable but just wanna check so I dont go bang or fail to do anything
  3. its not so much as saving up for the rest I get a work bonus but due to kids and holidays etc i cant always get what I want lol but I figure get the rest 1st and sacrifice gpu for now as I figured all the other new stuff will boost it a bit more for now : )
  4. so my system which is outdated now and cheap consists of... gtx950 asu a88xm-plus motherboard Athlon ll 860k ddr3 about 14gb I believe various speeds 1tb barracuda.. horrible I know so while this has served me well for a few years now mostly youtube, movies, wow overwatch and and a many other games its is struggling nowadays so I have decided to go for .. tomahawk max ryzen 5 3600 16gb ddr4 keep barracuda and some kind of drive for os while not the best system I can do this will also include new psu, case, fans so now to my question, gtx950 while I realize is not a gaming gpu by any means and deffo not the best, will it serve me well for now til I can factor 1 into my life budget within 6-8 months with the upgrades I have planned? I will prob have around £250-300 to get gpu
