  1. Hi there! Looking for a Wireless KB/Mouse with a 10-15ft. range. There is surprisingly little information out there, or I’m just using the right keywords when searching. this is for a computer hooked up to my TV, and will be used for gaming. Preferences include small/medium sized mouse with ambidextrous design (something that looks like the Logitech G Pro mouse), low latency, mechanical KB with media keys. Any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Danny
  2. I’m running the latest drivers for my hardware, Windows is fully updated, and BIOS is on the latest version.
  3. Hey everyone, I recently built my computer from the ground up, and I’m having trouble getting some of the games on my Steam library to work properly. Some games don’t load, and other games will work, but don’t play any of the cut scenes or intros. So, my question to everyone... is there something additional you need to do to your computer to have it ready to play any kind of game out there? I’m not entirely sure what I’m missing that’s causing me so many issues. Example game titles: Stellaris, Endless Space 2, Civilization: Beyond Earth. My computer (all updated drivers installed, including BIOS): OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X MB: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) GPU: ASUS ROG NVidia Advanced 2080 SUPER RAM: 64GB 3200MHz DDR4 G-Skill Royal (I know... overkill) HD: 1TB M.2 NVMe Samsung 970 EVO PSU: Corsair HX850 850 Watts
  4. @jonnyGURU - I’m not sure if you intended it, but while reading your reply, I heard it in Yoda‘s voice in my head. LOL Also, if you are THE JonnyGuru, I should really pay close attention to what you are telling me... My Corsair HX850 arrives today. Thank you for the laugh, and the advice. @Spotty - It’s a 1350W power supply that got great reviews back in the day for delivering stable power across multiple rails. Thermaltake Toughpower Model TP-1350AH3CCS. Needless to say, I bought a Corsair HX850 that arrives today. It should suit my needs nicely. Thanks for the advice! @Semper - Thanks for the fast reply. Your advice is sound, and greatly appreciated. Cheers!
  5. I have a 9 year old 1300W Thermaltake Toughpower PSU in my computer. I just swapped out my GPU from an RX570 to a 2080 Super, and now need two 8-pin PCIE power connectors, instead of just one. I don’t have any additional modular power cables lying around. Are modular cables brand specific, or are there generic modular cables that I can buy that fit all modular PSUs? Or, would getting an 8-pin to dual 8-pin splitter be a good idea (potential under powering risk?) Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  6. Thanks everyone. special thanks to @Mister Woof for the breakdown. Very useful information. I’ll consider the 2080S and see if it makes sense for me. Cheers!
  7. I recently rebuilt my computer from the ground up, and I switched over from an Intel CPU to an AMD CPU. The last part I need to upgrade is the GPU. I was considering buying an Asus ROG STRIX Nvidia 2070 Super A8G (since O8G is impossible to find...). I was giving it more thought tonight when I was wondering if I’m losing out on some kind of synergy by not going with an AMD GPU to go with my new AMD CPU. Am I losing out on something by not matching things up and getting an Nvidia card instead? Thanks! in case it is relevant, here are my system specs. CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X MB: Asus Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) RAM: 64GB G-Skill 3200 C14 GPU: Asus RX570 (for now...) Storage: 1TB NvMe, 1TB SSD PSU: TT Toughpower 1300W
