Hey everyone,
I recently built my computer from the ground up, and I’m having trouble getting some of the games on my Steam library to work properly. Some games don’t load, and other games will work, but don’t play any of the cut scenes or intros. So, my question to everyone... is there something additional you need to do to your computer to have it ready to play any kind of game out there? I’m not entirely sure what I’m missing that’s causing me so many issues. Example game titles: Stellaris, Endless Space 2, Civilization: Beyond Earth.
My computer (all updated drivers installed, including BIOS):
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
MB: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi)
GPU: ASUS ROG NVidia Advanced 2080 SUPER
RAM: 64GB 3200MHz DDR4 G-Skill Royal (I know... overkill)
HD: 1TB M.2 NVMe Samsung 970 EVO
PSU: Corsair HX850 850 Watts
