  1. Hello guys, I currently have this Graphics card: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1650 Advanced Edition I want to know whether I can use a 4k or 5k curved monitor with this Graphics card or it will not be supported. thanks!
  2. Hello guys I have read that I can connect multiple fans to a single fan header on my motherboard. I have also read that the maximum current on the fan header should not exceed 1 Amp. The issue is that I might have mistakenly plugged a cable to the header on my motherboard, and the cable was in fact coming from four 140mm case fans. Each 0.18 Amps. now I understand that 4* 0.18=0.72 which is less than 1 Amp. I believe I should be fine but I want to know, how can I CHECK the functionality of that header and confirm that nothing got damaged when I connected 4 fans to it. thanks!
  3. Thanks for the reply, I am leaning towards the GTX 1650, but I am afraid that it might not be compatible with the rest of my build. How can I confirm the compatibility and be absolutely sure?
  4. I have previously asked my question but I did not perfectly understand the answers. Sorry for reposting. specs: Gigabyte X299X Designare 10G Motherboard 10900X CPU G.skill trident z royal (4 x 16 GB) RAM 256 GB Samsung M.2 SSD can I use GTX 1650? Or only the RTX 20 series are compatible with my system? HOW CAN I EXACTLY CHECK FOR COMPATIBILITY? is physical dimensions the only factor?
  5. Will a GTX 1650 work? For the time being I am not interested in Gaming.
  6. Hello guys, I am making a new system based on the following parts: Intel 10900X CPU Corsair HX1000 watts PSU Gigabyte X299X Designare 10G Motherboard Corsair H150i Pro RGB AIO CPU Cooler G.Skill Trident Z Royal series RAM 3200 Mhz (4 x 16 GB) the above mentioned parts have already been purchased, but I do not have a video output signal from my motherboard back ports. Thus, I just need to buy a Graphics card. I want a Nvidia based GPU. I want to know what type of cards are compatible with my whole setup? How can I find out and What are the determining factors that I have to take into account before purchasing one. Budget is maximum 700 USD. thanks!
  7. Thanks for your reply, would a GTX 1650 be compatible with my board and cpu? How can I accurately check that?
  8. Sorry I didn’t get this part “connect the gpu to the thunderbolt on the gpu”
  9. Thank you for your reply, one last question. I plan to use the thunderbolt 3 ports to connect them to an audio interface. Is the GPU responsible for that as well?
  10. The reason that I got this CPU is the number of cores and the clock speed. I have been producing music for short films and artists for the last 7 years and in all this time the most vital component have been the CPU and the RAM for my production software. the softwares that I use are Steinberg Cubase and Avid Protools. I already have a dedicated amp and audio interface: Universal Audio Apollo 16 is my audio card(audio interface) initially I wanted to purchase a graphics card at a later stage because I also do 3D Engineering designs and FEA analysis from time to time. That’s another reason that I bought this CPU to be sure and future proof.
  11. I am using the computer for music production only, I just need something that is compatible with my system and will put a video on the screen. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. However I just realized something while reading the manual and also the product specifications page on Gigabyte. Attached two images from the manual, does it mean that I can continue by only using a Thunderbolt 3 monitor and not buy a graphics card for now?
  12. Thank you for the helpful information! I’ll be getting a GPU soon, Can you please give me some GPU suggestions? Budget around 1000 USD I don’t need something extremely powerful, just something that can help me get an output signal to the monitor.
  13. I see, anyways, the board that I am referring to is MSI Z97 Gaming 5, I recall that board didn’t need a GPU in order to send signals to a monitor/tv.
  14. Thanks for the reply, I recall a few years ago I could have easily used the HDMI/DVI/VGA outputs on the back of my motherboard even when not having a GPU. is this something that is only applicable to DisplayPort?
  15. Thanks for your reply. Can you explain more please? I am not familiar with this as I have never heard this before. Any sources?
