Yesterday when I had powered on my computer it didn't post properly. It had the red VGA light that the b450 tomahawk (non-max) has. I have tried two hours of troubleshooting and cannot get the system to power on. The incident happened spontaneously, it was working fine when I powered it down the night before. I have reset the CMOS, changed the CMOS, unplugged all I/O, took all but one ram stick out, tried different ram kit, tried different GPU, tried different GPU slot, removed HDD, removed M.2, replaced M.2, using only one monitor (tried for both monitors), tried different GPU ports, reseated all connectors on motherboard AND PSU, tried different RAM slots, unplugged unnecessary PCI card. No overclocks were running on the system, and the only step it fails at is VGA. I have plans to go to the store and buy a new motherboard today, if I cannot think of anything else.
My specs are:
Ryzen 5 2600x
Gigabyte RX 6600 8GB
32GB 3600MHz Corsair Vengeance RGB (running 3000 due to previous issues)
MSI B450 Tomahawk (non-max, BIOS up-to-date)
650w 80+ Gold Corsair psu
H100i 240mm AIO
