PandaBot2001's Achievements

  1. Turning the voltage down seemed to help a little with fan volume and the CPU's heat, keeping at a steady 55-59 FPS (With Nvidia control help, and how it ran before) and 75 ish degrees on Quake Champions.
  2. So far mine has been fine, I just think I've set stuff up wrong, but at the same time I have nowhere for a PC tower and set up on my dining room table as well as needing to take it to college for game design.
  3. I did have Afterburner but it kept blue screening my laptop, even if it wasn't changing anything. How do I undervolt it safely?
  4. So, I bought an MSI GL63 8SE laptop for my college course (I can't remember the exact date) and for those who don't know the GL63 8SE specs: I7 8750h RTX 2060-2080 (you can choose, mine is 2060) 16GB Ram 1tb hardrive 120GB SSD (I think that's the SSD capacity) My laptop generally runs fine but the fan seems to randomly speed up when I'm on my desktop or chrome. I also need to do a lot of playing with Nvidia control panel to reach 50fps on some games, and even Team Fortress 2 was 40fps on it's auto detect settings. I often set a 60fps cap since it's a 60Hz screen, but I just wonder why so many games seem to struggle so much with these specs. I'm on the latest Geforce drivers and update pretty consistently.
