  1. All right, I’ll experiment a bit now then. Once again, thanks a lot mate
  2. It runs perfectly fine now, that fixed it, it’s been running for 21 hours now under load with no problems. I think I’ll try setting it to 5.0 now, what voltage should i set? 1.3? 1.35? Thanks again for helping me, I was stuck with that problem for such a long time, and I completely dismissed the fact that it might be that from the beginning cause I thought that shouldn’t be a problem if msi says that the board supports 9900ks so I probably wouldn’t have tried it for another week or so if you didn’t tell me to and I’d be trying some other random stuff
  3. Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Hopefully I won’t need it though. So far so good, the system’s been running fine and stable for around 5 hours now under load all the time. I think it’s all good now. Thank you so much my saviour. I spent over a week driving around services and stores and rma’ing the parts and trying all sorts of things. It’s quite funny to think that such a small little thing as a fixed under clock would solve it
  4. So far the system has been running fine for around 35 minutes with the static oc. I'll keep it running for few hours now and see if it fixed it for now until a new bios rolls out. Thanks a lot, i'll keep you updated. If it doesn't solve the issue i think i'll refund this board and get a new one. You said asus has trash VRMs on the z390 boards? What about gigabyte? Or just a different MSI board that supports the 9900ks a bit better?
  5. The board is still returnable as i just bought it recently. i can drive down to the store and get it returned and buy a different board instead. Could you maybe recomment me a board that is most likely to work well with the 9900ks ?
  6. I'm currently on 7B17v171(Beta version), before updating to it i tried 7B17v16 and i had the exact same issue with both of them
  7. I see, what would you recommend then? Should i return the motherboard i have now and get a different one that has been tested to work well with the 9900ks?
  8. The only thing i did in BIOS was enabling XMP for the ram to run at 3200mhz
  9. Hi, I decided to upgrade my pc with a new cpu, motherboard and ram and move it to a new, nicer case. Unfortunately the motherboard got bricked after a failed bios update so i got it replaced and there were no problems updating the bios on the replacement board. I installed a fresh copy of windows after installing the new parts and started installing all of the software (steam, discod etc) before i was even done installing the software the computer BSOD already with whea_uncorrectabe_error. I downloaded all of the windows updates and updated all of my drivers but the computer kept crashing with the same error code. I thought that maybe the cpu or the ram were faulty so i got them replaced (the store i bought them from offers same day replacement if a part is faulty) even after replacing the parts and reinstalling windows again, the bsod kept happening. Sometimes it could run for 30 hours with me gaming, watching movies or stress testing the pc without a crash and then right after that it could randomly crash few times in a row within minutes of each other. The computer runs perfectly fine booted into safe mode with networking so i think i can rule out any hardware problems. I ran sfc /scannow and checked the disks - no errors whatsoever. I've been closely monitoring the temps as well and idle it never goes above 30C and under load it never goes higher than around 80C or so. I also tried just running it with a fresh windows install without anything installed on it to see if maybe it's some software but it would crash even in a fresh install. Please someoe, help me, I have absolutely no idea what could be wrong with the computer and i've been trying to fix it for over a week now and i really need to get it fixed asap as i need it for work.
