  1. According to the FAQ from Gigabyte, that's what they give. I am looking into liquid cooling, and right now it looks like it's currently my first choice. I'm beginning to think that Gigabyte is just being overly cautious to limit their liability in case someone puts one on and then does something stupid with it. That would make sense I am beginning to doubt that the measurement is for anything but the stock mounts. I think the backplate does alter the weight carrying capabilities of the motherboard.
  2. Would I be better off just replacing the fan on my current cooler? I have a stock cooler from an FX-8350 and my largest concern is the noise level.
  3. I was looking at it, but yes, like Tea said; So I was forced to reconsider.
  4. I'd rather use air cooling, but if liquid cooling is my only option I'll keep this in mind.
  5. I have a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P.
  6. I'm looking for some help in finding a quality CPU cooler that weighs less than 450g (motherboard's listed limit). It will be for cooling an FX-6300, which will potentially be overclocked at some point. A quiet cooler is preferred, and I'd like to spend under $50, if possible.
  7. Thanks, I hadn't thought about that, and its definitely something to consider.
  8. CRTs because they're extremely cheap, and the entire setup is meant to be a joke between my friends and I, while still being practical.
  9. I'm currently looking in to creating a wall of CRT monitors, either 16 in a 4x4 pattern, or 25 in a 5x5 pattern. In order to do this, what combination of graphics cards would be the minimum to achieve this? I don't intend to do much gaming on it, and it's more of just a pet project. Before you go and tell me that it's retarded, that's the whole point.
