  1. Thank you so much!, never thought that preinstalled software (came in CD of MOBO) would conflict with BIOS and etc. as it was quite handy. Uninstalled it, changed all Cha fans to DC mode via BIOS and now while in desktop, frontal cha fans no longer run at max speed (1400RPM)
  2. Are you saying, that Aisuite somehow overrides BIOS settings and makes the fans go max speed?
  3. Hello, Im having issues with my Cha Fans, so im currently running 3 Wind Blade 120RD (3pin) fans in my case (1 in the back, 2 upfront) The one in the back works fine as it's 3pin cable connected to a 4 pin mobo connector directly. However, regarding the fans upfront, their cable is too short to connect to the corresponding cha fan connectors on the mobo, therefore I bougth the pin splitter as a work around (since connecting the fans to PSU molex made them run at 100%) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000639953069.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.cd934c4dTHxqcr to be able to control the fan speed by connected them to the Cha_fan 2 or 3 connecter. But once I connected all the cables im unable to control the RPM of front fans. Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming B550-PLUS My Bios recognizes the fans connected to the Cha_fan 3 port and somewhat allows me to select the available modes. However once I reboot into desktop my frontal fans start running at full speed ( side note: they work silently while booting windows/in bios and kicks in at full speed when im in desktop) I have downloaded the sofware that came with my MOBO (AI suite 3) and it did allow me to set up (back end and CPU fans) and it does show the RPM of the frontal fans connected to Cha_fan3, but does not allow me to make any changes. Currently via BIOS all fans (except CPU fan) are set in DC mode. It feels like for somewhat reason my front fans switch to PWM once in desktop and makes loud noise ( I have noticed, that when in BIOS Cha_fan 3 in mode DC runs silently and once I switch to PWM it gets much louder, basically the same as while in desktop) HELP would be very much appreciated. P.S. I've tried installing "SpeedFan" but for some reason it did not find any of the fans in my PC
  4. Thanks for asnwering, however overdrive settings have no impact on this. Currently on medium ( tried all modes from off to high/strong)
  5. Hi guys, so I recently upgraded to a AOC 144hz 1440p monitor, when turning adaptive sync on via monitor's menu, nvidia prompts a G-sync compatibility. However when I turn it on, my screen starts flickering while in-game, not so often when playing Nioh 2 (60fps), but very noticable and annoying in CSGO. If I turn off the G-sync via nvidia panel, the flickering stops. Monitor is set at 144hz YT vid For reference on how it looks, except its throughought the screen not just in the dark areas. Any ideas on how to fix it ? ( if its even fixable?)
  6. Prices vary from 100 to 200 euro depending on their modification, which im not very familiar with. (attached picture below)
  7. Thanks for the explanation. I cant really see my self needing more than 1 m.2 slot, but the support for later Gen CPU is a thought to be had. P.S. I have reviewed your provided b550 versions and all of them except "A-pro" come in micro version(b550M), which would kinda be a problem... The MSI b550 a-pro ATX is available for 140 euro ( 30euro more than the b450 tomahawk max), is it worth the extra, wont AMD release BIOS updates etc. so the 450 supports later CPU Gens?
  8. Could you please elabarote in more detail with your suggestion, as to be frank, im not well versed with MOBO's and their advantages. Additionally, the b550 tomahawk version seems to be ~80 euro pricier than b450 one After broad review of Reddit threads and YT videos, a lot of people seemed to recommend 3600 + b450 combo Thanks!
  9. Thank you for the answer. I dont plan going max setting etc. As I always had mid-range PC ,so medium-high settings are enough for me. Im just curious if the upgrade is worth ~400 euro and will be noticeable, since my ol' reliable i5 is still kicking. Is it plausible to wait till Ryzen 5600 drops to the ~200 euro price range or it wont happen next few years?
  10. Hello fellow gamers/ PC enthusiasts, I seek your assistance once more I was itching for the past 2-3 weeks to upgrade from my 22' inch 2m 60hz monitor to 144hz 1ms 1440p 27' (probably AOC 27' VA one), but I think, before that, I should probably upgrade my parts, so therefore: 1. Is it worth upgrading now or maybe postpone it to ~June? Regarding the Corona and it's effect on the prices. (The GPU's skyrocketed, but other components seem fine? Atleast in my country) 2. Is it worth upgrading my existing i5-3570k 3.40GHz Oc'ed to 4.4 GHz to Ryzen 5 3600 and if so, How much of an improvement in FPS would I see in CS,Warzone,AAA? 3. Thoughts on the MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX & Team Group RAM manufacturer ? (Never heard of Team group, but their prices seem solid) Did some research and here is the following: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 ~200euro https://itwork.lt/amd-ryzen-5-3600-4-2ghz-am4-processor-threads-12-tray-cooler-included-processor-cores-6-lt-lt.html?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=kainos.lt RAM: Considering between these options (agree/disagree/recommendations?): Team Group T-Force Vulcan Z Red 16GB 3200MHz CL16 DDR4 KIT OF 2 ( ~80 euro) https://www.senukai.lt/p/team-group-t-force-vulcan-z-red-16gb-3200mhz-cl16-ddr4-kit-of-2-tlzrd416g3200hc16cdc01/cgtk?utm_source=kaina24.lt&utm_medium=referral Team Group Delta RGB 16GB 3200MHz CL16 DDR4 KIT OF 2 (~110 euro) https://www.senukai.lt/p/team-group-delta-rgb-16gb-3200mhz-cl16-ddr4-kit-of-2-tf3d416g3200hc16cdc01/e9v7?utm_source=kaina24.lt&utm_medium=referral HyperX Fury RGB 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ DIMM HX432C16FB3AK2 (~88 euro) https://www.rde.lt/products/lt/433/171770/sort/1/filter/0_0_0_0/Fury-RGB-16GB-DDR4-3200MHZ-DIMM-HX432C16FB3AK2-16-operatyvioji-atmintis.html?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=kainos.lt MOBO: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX (~110 euro) https://www.senukai.lt/p/msi-b450-tomahawk-max/cfpk?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=kainos.lt GPU,PSU,Case remains the same for the time being. 11. Do you know any good OC guide or video? I know that its different with every system and so on, but im kinda lost in all these voltage things etc. and to be honest from what I read you have to make tons of hours of stress tests which frankly looks kinda bothersome, therefore why I havent OC'ed my CPU after so many years.
  12. Thanks for such quick reponses! I see you both mentioning 212 Evo. Lets say I bought it and OC from 3.5 to 4.5 GHz how much of a difference would that actually be? Would it affect fps a lot in games like GTA5, PUBG and newer triple A titles? Or should I save the few bucks and just overall upgrade my CPU in the ~2years? Edit: According to pcpartpicker Evo212 and my Aerocool Xpredator-X1 Black Edition ATX Mid Tower are not compatible, so scratch that I guess
  13. Hey guys, Had this ancient pc build for quite some while and recently decided to upgrade few parts, added 8gb RAM (16 in total now), SSD and replaced the old MSI gtx 660 2gb GPU with GTX 1660 Super. Before purchase I checked that my CPU might bottleneck the gpu for ~20%, my question is how much would Overclocking my CPU would help to reduce the bottleneck if help at all? What is the safe OC for the CPU without dedicated cpu cooler? And how much could push the OC if I bought the cooler? My spec: CPU: i5-3570k 3.40GHz RAM: 16GB 1333MHz (mix of old Kingston 2x4Gb and new 2x4Gb Hyperx) Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Performance PSU: Corsair CX 600 W 80+ Bronze
