I've been having trouble determining the cause of issue for my home build. I put together this build about 11 months ago and it ran perfect for 8 months. About 3 months ago the computer started freezing during use and the only solution was to power down. This went on daily/every other day for a while until I updated the BIOS. After updating the BIOS the computer no longer freezes, but instead will just go black and either boot back to the lock screen or not boot at all while the CPU & case fans continue to run. The motherboard also displays an EZ DEBUG LED where the CPU LED is solid white (not much info on this out there).
This issue happens daily, during any use of the PC. I can always power on, get to the lock screen, login to the desktop and perform any functions. No specific functions cause the issue as it could be idle, browsing the internet, downloading, etc. and anywhere from 1-5 minutes it will Boot/shutdown. The weirdest thing is, if upon boot-up I opened Battle.net and launched Call of Duty right away, the computer does NOT have any issue and I can play for hours. Any other function and it will boot/shutdown. I have not tested other games.

I have tried everything I can think of to troubleshoot including: Updating BIOS, Clearing CMOS, resetting Windows, installing a clean version of Windows, switching which SSD to boot from, reseating CPU, RAM, and GPU, verifying correct RAM slots (2 & 4), running system with 1 RAM stick, running with the other RAM stick, Running the system with just MOBO/GPU/1 SSD/Monitor/1 RAM stick, checking temps (34°C), checked for bent/missing pins, Made sure all connections are properly plugged in. As I said, this build was running perfectly then it wasn't. My next step would be to swap out the PSU or MOBO, but trying to avoid hardware swaps.
