No, i want either low profile because of my 38 inch ultra wide and my 27 inch portrait next to it or 2 i can hang on the wall behind my monitors. That's why i got a sound bar. Which isn't practical because i can't use it's features on a PC which i didn't find out until after the fact.

Thanks. The DAC/AMP clarification helps. What i am looking for is assistance in building a decent audio setup for my PC. I want it to be decent for both gaming and for entertainment. I don't mind spending a couple of dollars and if i need multiple parts as well. My confusing part, i think is where i stated my knowledge base. I have basically none for audio. That would have been simpler, and of course i just listed what i thought would be relevant parts to my question.

I want some either low profile speaker setup or sound bar, or some i can mount on the all behind my monitor. I enjoy good quality audio and i do play games often without my headset. I got a Bose Solo II in hopes of using it's Dolby Atmos but sadly learned that it can only be done through HDMI ARC and i don't have that on my PC at all. All that being said i don't know the first thing to setting up quality audio, what sub, what speakers, do i need a DAC? or amp or what ever it is. I am not technically stupid to say the least i build all my setups with custom water loops and what not, just audio was never a strong point. any help in getting a parts list together would be GREAT!!! Thanks again LTT community always the BEST! If you need more specs or anything let me know. P.S preferably readily available parts, i live right next to a microcenter and in the heart of a city so have most things such as best buy and what not.

Hello LTT community! You guys always come through when I have a tech question. I just purchased a Bose sound bar, and I would like to use Dolby Atmos. I am under assumption from everything I read that Atmos is only possibly through HDMI, this is the hang up, I can't figure out how to get HDMI audio to pass through my GPU, unless it simply cannot. If this is the case, how do I use Atmos on my PC with my Bose sound bar? Thank you in advanced!!!!!!! PC Asus Formula VIII X570 3950X 2080 TI FTW3 32 gigs 3600 trident z Speaker Bose Solo II

100% soon as i replaced the 3950X all four ran at 3600, right now im running 4k on them just fine.

Everyone that contributed i really really thank you. It forced me to learn even more. In the end it ended up being the CPU itself, after all of the suggestions i could still only get 2 of the 4 to work. Miccrocenter swapped out the CPU free of charge and everything is up and running as it should be. Thanks again a ton everyone.
