  1. Thanks for helping me out by the way! Getting used parts is difficult which is what my problem was because if I have to replace my current CPU it would cost me 20k and then there's unavailability issues. But what do you think of this: ASRock B450M Pro 4 or similar MOBOS = 8k / Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H (Rev. 1.X) or Similar Mobo = 5k AMD Ryzen 5 3400g 14k Ram for 6k and a good PSU for 5k and I will be able to reach the 25-30k budget. What do you think of that build?
  2. My previous build's CPU/Mobo has malfunctioned and I'm unable to use it. The LGA1150 mobos and CPUs are overpriced here and kinda discontinued honestly... Which is why I'm changing my setup.
  3. Budget (including currency): 25k Rupees Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Streaming (Low end games like Old School Runescape and non gaming related) and Video Editing (Premiere pro and After Effects) Good day everyone, I'm once again asking for your Technical Support! I'm currently trying to switch to a Ryzen setup after my current setup has been malfunctioning (Have used it for 4+Yrs. Parts are listed at the bottom). I already have a case,SSD, Hard Drive, Monitor and peripherals from my current build I believe I need to upgrade/Replace the following parts (Budget 25k Rupees [i.e India]/Which is around 335Dollars can go around 4-5k above.) Motherboard RAM (16GB) CPU+Graphics card / APU Maybe PSU? My current PSU is working but its like 2 years past warranty I believe... Please keep in mind that for 4+ years I've been using my Intel i7 - 4790k with no Graphics Card and no Overclock. I was fine with the Intel HD 4600 Integrated graphics which came along with the CPU. I was able to manage my video editing process with that, it took some time to process things and I was unable to use Elements 3D on After Effects but I'm fine with that, so maybe an APU model from Ryzen would suit me? or any graphics card paired with a Ryzen 5 1600? I'd love to hear your suggestions. Note: I'm not interested in gaming some hardcore games. I love old school runescape but I can run that on a potato so it shouldn't be a problem. Video editing(Premiere pro and After Effects) and Live Streaming(Not necessarily game related) is my go to at the moment. Thank you. The current setup I've been using: MOBO: Asus Maximus vii hero motherboard CPU: Intel core i7 Processor (4790K) LGA-1150(4 Cores) Supports 2 channel DDR3 Memory. PSU: Corsair VS650 ATX Power Supply (650 watt) RAM: HyperX Memory. 2 x 8GB DDR3 (1866 CL10 240 Pin UDIMM) Memory Module (Total 16 Gigs RAM) FAN: Cooler master Hyper TX3 Eco (Intel LGA 1151) SSD: Samsung SSD 850 Pro (256GB) HDD: WD Blue 2TB (2015) Cabinet: Cooler master 912 HAF (Micro ATX/ATX) Monitor: Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit (1080P,59Hz,8Bit) DVD: GH24NSC0 Internal 24x Super Multi with M-DISC™ Support
  4. Good Day everyone, for the past week I am wrestling this problem where my computer would freeze suddenly in between operation and monitor starts flickering/glitching like crazy (Sometimes my monitor even produces a crackling sound when it happens) I was able to find 2 posts with similar problem to mine and the pics shown in that is very close to mine. (Link 1 Link 2) I don't believe this is a software issue since sometimes the screen glitching happens during the Bios screen and Bios configuration as well. But other times the computer works fine as usual... but every single time the screen glitching problem occurs I immediately hit the restart button and my Comp goes in a boot loop unable to even reach post. It throws around different error codes but the most common ones are 00 and A2. Where it shows 00 and then restarts again and the process keeps continuing (Red light is seen on the CPU_LED in the motherboard when it happens) until it just randomly and magically just starts functioning normally again and then suddenly the problem returns back (It's a very annoying hell hole!). Additional note: I had a youtube video running once when the problem occurred and the music just screetched like a banshee. In other words, when the screen glitch happens, my comp processes are malfunctioning so its not a monitor issue. I'm an incredibly broke person trying to make ends meet and I don't have enough money to replace the entire system and I'm trying to figure out which particular part is malfunctioning so I can replace just that part. But it seems in situations like these the problem could range from a faulty PSU or a MOBO problem to my CPU + Integrated graphics malfunctioning etc. Please throw me your suggestions. What happens to my comp looks pretty much exactly like these images. Crash 1 Crash 2
  5. Thanks a lot for the list, that helps me a lot btw which do you think is better value for money between Ryzen 5 3600 and Ryzen 7 2700X for 1080p video editing?
  6. Thank you very much! I'm new to this so this was really helpful. If you don't mind, is there a MOBO you'd recommend to go with the 3600?
  7. Hello, below I have my current build listed which I use and I want to switch my CPU-MOBO-GPU to AMD build while keeping the remaining components intact. (My Mobo failed, hence the switch) I use my PC mainly for 1080P video editing (Not interested in any 4k editing). Focusing mainly on Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and shooting my videos on OBS I have a Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam ) I don't play any games other than Old School Runescape and I'm not interested in trying any new games so a Gaming oriented PC is not what I'm looking for. -------- MOBO*: (Asus Maximus vii hero motherboard) <- Current, want a decent AMD switch.* CPU*: (Intel Core i7 Processor (4790K) LGA-1150. It had Intel® HD Graphics 4600 ) <- Current, want a decent AMD switch.* GPU**: (Needed)** PSU: Corsair VS650 ATX Power Supply (650 watts) RAM: HyperX Memory. 2 x 8GB DDR3 (1866 CL10 240 Pin UDIMM) Memory Module (Total 16 Gigs RAM) FAN: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Eco (Intel LGA 1151) SSD: Samsung SSD 850 Pro (256GB) HDD: WD Blue 2TB (2015) Cabinet: Cooler master 912 HAF (Micro ATX/ATX) Monitor: Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit (1080P,59Hz,8Bit) DVD: GH24NSC0 Internal 24x Super Multi with M-DISC™ Support PCPart Picker Link: https://in.pcpartpicker.com/list/BdgJgJ
  8. For a long time(Years) my computer fan used to scream like a banshee whenever I worked in video editing or I turned my OBS recording on. It was only recently I realized that my CPU is overheating a lot constantly. The temperature went to 80C+ on Loads and 100C+ when I run a stress test (It was 40C on min). I'm using a software called core-temp to check the temp. Yesterday I came across this thread on Asus ROG Forum and tweaked those 3 settings in the Bios my CPU fans have not screaming at me. I get <70C at 100%load (Stress test) and min is 35C. I just want to double check if everything is alright now or did I end up messing something...(Why did changing this settings from "auto"->the optimized value fix my overheating issues? I assumed my motherboard will automatically put the best settings) I have not overclocked my CPU. My Current State(After optimization) shown in Cpu-Z The Forum Image which showed me what values I should set.
  9. Thanks for replying. Yes according to what i've seen for months researching, there are a wide array of problems. As far as the CPU cooler goes, when I gave my PC to the repair shop, I saw the person remove the fan, blow clean it and put it back on and it still didn't change anything. I should check again if its put on too tightly or not though to try my luck when the 00 code appears again.
  10. Hello, For nearly a year I've been receiving error code "00" on my Asus motherboard. No POST happens a lot of times but after turning it off and on for a couple of times(Sometimes just leaving it off for a few hours and then turning it on again) it will again continue to work normally. During the time when "No POST" happens, I've tried removing RAM sticks and i still received the same code. I've also taken my computer twice to the repair shop. These people did the same thing which I did. They checked with different RAM (Same Code-00), then they changed the PSU (Which I couldn't because I don't have extra parts to test but still same Code-00). And then they say its a motherboard problem and they need to mess with ICs else my computer wont turn on. Another person said my motherboard is dead and i should buy a new mobo instead. I usually just take the PC back because i know that if i leave it off for a few hours, it ends up working fine(Most of the times it turns on with a couple of attempts). May I know what should I do to fix the 00 error so my computer works fine always? Things I have tried: Resetting the BIOS. Works for a day and then it goes back to Code-00 and after 4-5 attempts of powering On and Off it works fine. Leaving the system on for 10 or so minutes and then retrying (It works most of the time this way). Saw this on a youtube comment once since a lot of people seem to be getting this 00 error. The explanation which the user gave was that the processor needs a bit of warmth. (But again sometimes it doesn't work). Keep in mind, when my computer works it works perfectly. I even tried doing the stress test on CPU-Z and it worked fine. Could it be some major problem still?
