  1. Right, nice ok, I've modified it's fan curve way to much I think. That little fan is so loud. I'll set that back to normal and run a test again. Thanks for all the help so far @cr8tor
  2. Chipset temp C climbs steadily to 100C+ right before shutdown. Chipset is CPU right? CPU Die in C only gets to about 82C
  3. I think I recently pushed it enough, I got a 4k monitor and started playing more COD warzone. Still kept it at around 120fps by playing with the settings. Here is the logfile:log.CSV
  4. @cr8tor semi new build, mostly used for work rather than gaming so haven't pushed it much @ilzzTheWiz gee hope not, what anti-virus should I use that's non shit?
  5. it's stays off @cr8tor I've remove the gigabye app thing which was buggy while just running the desktop. I'll give that hardware monitor a try and post the logs. Will undervolting the GPU help? going through the bequite power supply calculator says I'm using 343watts
  6. @svmlegacy it just turns off. screen gone, all lights off. Hope I got enough power, any way I can check what my power draw of the system is or how much it needs precisely?
  7. I'm trying to narrow down why my desktop randomly keeps shutting down. It happens more frequently in-game. I've installed the gigabyte motherboard app center thing trying to run updates and get ingame CPU temps and now it shutsdown the machine even when running firefox. Any ideas on how to test what's wrong? This is my parts list: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X (BOX) Boxed Gigabyte Aorus X570 I PRO WIFI Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT 8G NZXT H210 Zwart/Wit be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK64GX4M2D3600C18 be quiet! Pure Power 11 600W CM Samsung 970 EVO 1TB
  8. I'm looking to upgrade my work from home monitor setup. But I would also like to use this monitor for my gaming desktop. Is it possible to route my videocard output through my Gigabyte Aorus X570 I PRO WIFI, USB-3.1 port to a USB-c monitor? I don't mind gaming on a lower resolution if I can still use the desktop at 4k for productivity - Gigabyte Aorus X570 I PRO WIFI - Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT 8G I'm looking to connect it to a >24inch 4k monitor https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-24MD4KL-B-4k-uhd-led-monitor https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-22MD4KA-B-4k-uhd-led-monitor
  9. Quick question will the Gigabyte Aorus Radeon RX 5700 XT 8G fit? looking at pictures it might be too long or thick?
  10. I agree perhaps the SSD is not worth it, the PSU, is also a good tip! thanks! I'm wondering about the CPU cooler, the NZXT X42 vs the Noctua NH-U12S vs the Dark Rock Pro. It it worth it to upgrade to an AIO? For the RAM I haven't found a 2 stick set of cl16 kit, any suggestions worth looking at?
  11. I would prefer a bit smaller case, but I don't want to mess around with a super SSF build, and I think the NZXT cases looks pretty cool. Would you recommend going with the H500 series instead?
  12. Hi guys, I'm close to purchase my first workstation / gaming rig. Hoping to get some advice on what I've put together. I think the GPU could be upgraded in 1 to 2 years if needed. The other parts I'm hoping to last for a while. What do you think? Will it fit and work together? AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Boxed € 495,- Gigabyte Aorus X570 I PRO WIFI € 229,- Gigabyte Aorus Radeon RX 5700 XT 8G € 455,- NZXT H210 black/white € 84,90 be quiet!
