  9. Hi all, I have file shares at home i would like to access over a VPN currently i have a USG Pro 4 and have successfully setup a vpn but I cant access my file shares on my server running windows 10 over the VPN but can when connected to the LAN network. Equipment: USG PRO 4 (router from ubiquiti) Ubiquity 48 port switch R510 Server (hosts the file shares) R620 (does nothing at the moment) Conditions: My server is using a cloud directory service to apply users I am using access control so users have access to shared folders and their own folders. I can ping these servers over the vpn VPN is using the 192.168.4.1/24 subnet LAN is using the 192.168.1.1/24 subnet Any ideas? I originally created this in the servers and NAS section but figure this is a more appropriate place for it Original Post
  10. @Electronics Wizardy Just checked and yes I can ping it on the R510 DRAC ip and the 2 adapter ip's as for the other server its not plugged in to the network right now because I am re-cabling it tomorrow once amazon delivers my patch cables.

  12. This has been a big issue for the company I'm an apprentice for especially because we based the whole windows 7 to windows 10 upgrade off of machines with these shortage of chips.
  13. I would like to setup a storage Server on my older Dell r510 server. I would like to Use virtualization for this so I can run other systems. Does anyone have any suggestions for the OS I should use to virtualize and does anyone have any suggestions for the actual storage Server OS?
