  1. I did that too using an external CD Reader....its still the same situation and appears the same message
  2. Hello everyone. I need help. My PC shut down during BIOS update and now I only have a screen with the message: "WARNING! BIOS recovery mode has been detected. Please put the file SX470FG.CAP into HDD or a removable USB media device and then reset your computer. You can also insert ASUS Support CD to your CD-ROM and reset your computer. If you have done these Please wait a moment and don't shut down your system System will be automatically rebooted." I tried all steps possible to repair it but had no luck. I used a FAT32 USB Flash drive with the file SX470SG.CAP with many BIOS versions and even the CD from the motherboard package but nothing works. I removed all hard drives and one of the two RAM sticks, i also switched position of the RAM sticks and still no results. After giving my PC to a local repair store the guy there told me that he tried but in the end my motherboard is BRICKED and I need a new one. He also checked with a BEEPER machine on the motherboard to discover what's the issue. My PC build is: Motherboard: ASUS Rog Strix X470 F Gaming CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x RAM: Tridentz G Skill 3200 16GB (2x8) GPU: RTX 2070 My warranty is not covering me anymore so NO WARRANTY to save me! Any suggestions on what I should do or how can I repair it? Thank you very much
  3. Probably you know more than me. I haven't really dig into these things. I just know some basic stuff to do and check on my PC. Thanks for the help buddy.
  4. Hahahah you're not wrong. But we both know how many useless things are running background that use a lot of resources. Even now with many things deleted and just the Firefox open (I know it uses some RAM) i have 17-18% RAM Usage (Tridentz Gskills DDR4 16GB 3200hz)
  5. I'm thinking of doing another Format and reinstall windows. It's just that I have already done 2 formats on my M2 Disk since I've build my PC 7 months ago. Thank you for replying btw guys
  6. Hello to all the cpmmunity. Greetings from Greece. Hope you're all good. My message is about a question for the Windows defender and Windows keys from eBay. I bought a Windows 10 Pro key from eBay and it's all good. But the last month I noticed that I don't have the windows Defender active. I mean there is no icon in the icons panel and when I open "Windows Security" I see a blank page. Also I'm using "RevoUninstaller" to clean some of the Windows background apps cause I really don't need them and they EAT my PC with no reason. Do I really need the Windows Defender? Is it a problem cause I bought the key from E bay? Did I do anything while using RevoUninstaller? Anyway Thank you very much guys. Linus I believe you can be more cringe than this....don't disappoint us (just kidding). All the love from Greece.
