  1. @handymanshandle would you plug it into antenna in?
  2. @handymanshandle Look I finally found one that'd probably work: https://www.amazon.com/Analog-NTSC-Tuner-Demodulator-Output/dp/B01KC03BQ2/ref=psdc_280341_t2_B06XP2VSTD But I ain't paying that much for it
  3. Also, I don't think your whole system is fried because you were saying the rgb still lights up
  4. Doesn't sound like it's even getting post, that means one of three things, RAM, CPU, or MOBO, so maybe take your cpu out, make sure it has thermal paste, then check the prongs underneath it and basically anything on the mobo in the RAM/CPU area. Also, try the ram in different channels (because why not) and finally, if none of that has helped, maybe get ram of a lower mhz (doesn't need to be more than 4gb). Reset CMOS here and there to know you are getting the best results. I've got nothing if it is still happening after that.
  5. @handymanshandle Having issues finding what I need. What if I get one of the originally posted items and convert the analogue to digital https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-an-RF-adapter/ this is the type of cord I would need to do so, but I bet I can just buy one online instead of cutting any wires.
  6. @handymanshandle I agree, the searches are coming closer now.
  7. @handymanshandle Now the only question is what does "without rf port" mean and why does it only have 2.5 stars?
  8. @handymanshandle That is a great find for a capture card and I will probably buy it when I have the other side of this equation. The modulator you sent me is composite input and rf output and I couldn't find one that is the other way around. I think it might be how I am searching it.
  9. Hi everyone, hope you are well. I am very confused on how to stream my Famicom on Twitch. I am an affiliate fishing for a bigger community, and my love for retro gaming should help to boost it. Anyhow, I don't want to just record my Famicom on a phone, or other video camera. This seems like a simple task, but it hasn't been easy to figure out tbh. I will include two links to items that might work, but I have no idea. * https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XF7Z5DM?tag=aboutcom02lifewire-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 Problem with this one is that it might be a different TV connection, and it might not actually be a RF connector * https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Tuner-Capture-Express-Desktop/dp/B07QMGK9VH/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=pci-e+rf+capture&qid=1588136281&sr=8-1 this one also looks like it might work, and it is more what I am looking for, but with one review, it seems more sketch. My price range is preferably under 70 dollars. Please help, but don't answer if you're going to be mean.
  10. Thank you, very information-wealthy reply. I didn't say exactly which cooler because I didn't think it would matter for the name of that cord, and it would have taken a bit of scrolling on amazon to find.
  11. I did a massive update to my computer a while back, it went from a buffed Dell Optiplex to a relatively-possible-to-go-pro kit complete with all the glowy colors and rgb necessary to impress your 4 year old younger brother. Anyhow, I have a MPG Z390 Gaming plus MOBO and a Thermaltake cpu fan. The fan on lights up one setting, but I want to control it how you're supposed to be able to. There are 2 cords that come out of it and one of which I cannot identify at all, nor can I look up one of the symbols because I have no idea what it is. I will drop a picture below, can you tell me what this cord does and what it plugs into?
  12. These are the cheapest cords I could find, so I will order them, if I have enough money in my account, and if I remember, I will keep this forum up to date with how well they work.
  13. Now based on the comment of a happy customer on the image below, this cord should work for the power source: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001S2VT6I/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1T1LS4ZV8J7I&psc=1
  14. Luckily the cord for mine was easier to find, good luck finding one for the other model. Here is a link to the cord for yours if yours is like mine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000504BE/ref=ox_sc_act_image_2?smid=A2B2CX8QG5X30Q&psc=1
  15. From a little bit of research, it is apparent there are two types of RF switches in the back of Famicoms: Mine
  16. From what I can tell, this is exactly what I need, but it is a little spendy: Nintendo Famicom AC Adapter First Version HVC-002 Japan Import FC Adapter Only https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-Famicom-AC-Adapter-First-Version-HVC-002-Japan-Import-FC-Adapter-Only/322655359041?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item4b1fc21041:g:hn0AAOSwT75Zk-0I&enc=AQAEAAACQBPxNw%2BVj6nta7CKEs3N0qVHlepDja5vFfPzQhqihFY6oaQm%2BKflHjNrR4xOyu0ps2MM6uXDJktGcsNFXuErqZ5keU4n2NVIDGuQd5X1X71KebmQLDHjW4yDIOgOFafytL61pq%2FXt6iE00rxsQpb3q971kgrmz8S%2FzbL4N5JxOPk%2FHV%2BGeaiko2kvhyd%2FMPOpCE9Dgpvw86HzejbZ213KPymBUMjAb8bOQG2Nv1xFZ%2F2xywdEmZmJ7FEb7jLO86bp%2F9EYyQlfSt%2Fd7tLhLiC%2FQYY0tDncCTKOrM00qYVXN8x7GKTWVKJnkkW3LbLL7EJyJY%2BEBj%2B4LyZq3zN%2Fz1OivN5lWUxahurEKt2z4CEBUtGm99gblLdHHgNu5vkpM%2BTBXYReLSZukM0g%2Ffz1O97%2FDeqyj0cJtB7mBt1rso1J%2Fi4tk1a8Qc8jAVpNyXByjIJvE2a%2FAUcwnMpArmhRb2nqUDBxhogxA2wymW501Uh7m%2BqisYsvjQaZvGLyXGPB2zcRKkSLGNU33mqZz9aZOn3O0il23CHcLCXVTvUx8m2ADit5yATFreY%2BCZ0JsqUOQQbmdVff3z2rHqP0gpMIvSJR2Y5FygIUQ3VOzSwXO0ETtXiWdrvGF5HXez1No63zZjLI1eSRxJXSseFTybVAs7HM6No7dTiH8I0sqVdbeSfawtnTzJvj%2F3rVU%2BWGEQhOSAalbUqtv462tAeVtJSOylN%2B3aWJETOmID4LZm93oF0q9QXAKhYY99gu98WPXb8ueEznw%3D%3D&checksum=32265535904146e941ac37d44b21a490094a58ee9801
  17. Nevermind, I am beginning to think the HVC-002 is the model number of the power cord.
  18. Okay, so it appears that everyone else knows about the same as I do on this topic, so I'll provide you with the answers as I find them. To start off with, I think the power cord is the same as the one for HVC-002, because I found a sale on ebay that is a supposedly tested console. It comes with an HVC-001 console and an HVC-002 power adapter. Luckily, I was able to view the description on this auction even though it has already been sold. I will be providing a link to a well-working cheaper-end power cord shortly.
  19. I've got a new idea, put your old ram in. If it doesn't crash get different ram sticks.
  20. Yeah I just looked up the codes on the chip, so that isn'ta guarantee.
  21. From a little bit of research, that looks like it might be a GTS 250 512 MB, to me, not worth the money of the adapter.
  22. You've got a lot of good specs in there, what's your PSU? Most likely not the issue, but if a computer takes more power than what it gets, no good things. Also, might as well check the SATA cord connectors near your most recent additions. Lastly, does your debug light up or beep at all?
  23. Then maybe reset CMOS? Everytime stuff like this happens to me, some jiggling and a quick CMOS reset seems to do the trick.
