  1. I have 6 fans in my case. 2 LL140's, and 4 LL120's. Recently, 2 of my LL120's stopped spinning. They light up, but wont spin. They arent detected in iCue and wont start spinning no matter what I do. I have checked the connections. What do I do?
  2. I heard iCue tended to overvolt the cpu so i uninstalled it. No effect.
  3. the bios and core temp. I cant get ryzen master to work. the core voltage at idle/in bios is 1.5v
  4. I have a Ryzen 7 3800x. It runs from 50-65c at idle. What the hell. Everything is installed correctly. I just dont know whats happening. I have r7 Wraith Prism cooler on it.
  5. True, but the stock cooler with the 3600 is garbage and very loud.
  6. I put together 3 parts lists; the first was a Threadripper 3960x based machine designed to work as 3 systems, two for gaming and one content creation. It came out to 4,430$. When I tallyd up the total for the machines by themselves rather than integrated into one machine, I came out to 1,814$ for the content creation machine (Ryzen 9 3900x + GTX 1660 Super + 32gb ram and some other bells and whistles like mirrored hard drives). The Gaming machines came out to 1,440$ each. (Ryzen 5 3600 + RTX 2060 Super and some other bells and whistles like liquid cooling). This came out to 4696$, 266$ less than our fully integrated system. With some smarter parts listing you could definitely maximize your savings, but I DEFINITELY think looking into the lower-end threadrippers as several virtual machines is worth looking into, and it would be very interesting to see the results if someone were to actually try this.
  7. But the fans should be able to run quieter with the better airflow
  8. I set it to only run at 700rpm below 50c.When I do this, it will ramp down to good levels of quiet, but will ramp up ever once in a while until it cools back down. Its very annoying either way.
  9. Yes, I did that yesterday. Worked fine. don't know what I did wrong the last time. thanks
  10. I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 5 2600 + AMD Wraith Stealth and 3 chassis fans to a Ryzen 7 3800x + AMD Wraith Prism and 6 chassis fans. Its so much louder now at idle. ALL of the fans run at 1500+ RPM all the time. (on iCue's Quiet preset). Cooler is installed correctly/thermal paste/etc. Is this a normal problem?
  11. cpu utilization is 4%. it runs anywhere between 3.8 - 4.5Ghz. It just tries to be at boost clock all the time. It's an overvoltage issue or smth
  12. Yes, HWinfo64 confirms that the CPU is trying to hit boost clock all the time
  13. Another note; I am getting these numbers from Ryzen Master. Ryzen master also says my speed is 700mhz, but task manager says it is running at above 4ghz, which is definitely not idle speeds. ??? I am confusion.
  14. Sorry stu. I was very frustrated when I made that post. You are correct NineEye.
  15. I have correctly installed a Wraith Prism cooler on my CPU. However, I am still Idling at 38-45c and it is VERY loud on my 3800x. Even louder than my old Wraith stealth cooler, on an 2600, even thought I added 3 more PWM fans. Precision Boost issue?
  16. I'm now Idling at 70c. gonna shut her down
  17. I just upgraded my PC, and Bought an R7 3800x. I am using the Wriath Prism RGB stock cooler. I have 6 Corsair case fans installed, so there is more than enough airflow. I am Idling at 60c. When I push on the cooler, forcing it closer to the CPU, my temperatures drop to 40c. I have double checked that the clips that hold the cooler in place are engaged. The Cooler is not making proper contact with the CPU. I do not know what I have done wrong in installation. I have looked up guides and did exactly as they say. PLEASE HELP!
