  1. Because if I put a second fan up top it's going to be exhausting air out the top before air even starts hitting my cpu coolers fan. Do you know if I used a fan hub for all my fans instead, do yo know if that effects the power of the fans like the rpm signals etc and if i can still set them up as pwm mode in the bios or not?
  2. I'm not using the pre installed fans i'm taking them out so i can do the setup i mentioned above with my own Arctic Fans
  3. I'm only going to have 2 140mm at the front, 1 120mm at the back and another single 120mm at the top not 2. Can those 2 x system fan/water cooling pump headers or 1 x water cooling CPU fan header be used to plug case fans into and change the way those headers operate in the bios or something oe doesn't it work like that do those headers put out more power than the system fan headers or something
  4. Ooooh ok thanks a lot for that! Does my motherboard have enough system fan headers for the 4 case fans to be each be plugged in by themselves then instead because wouldn't that be better so each fan can pick up an rpm signal individually? I know that it says that I have 3 x system fan headers, the other 3 fan headers are for water cooling cpu fan header and water cooling pump headers and I also think the chipset fan on my mother board has to go into one of my system fan headers too? 1 x CPU fan header 1 x water cooling CPU fan header 3 x system fan headers 2 x system fan/water cooling pump headers
  5. What do I diasy chain, all the case fans into one system fan header or all the case fans into the cpu fan then the cpu fan into the cpu fan header?
  6. Ok change of plan, scrapping the RGB route it seems to complicated and finnicky for me i'll just get some white led strips and put them in my case instead. I'm going with an ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO CPU Cooler & 2 ARCTIC BioniX 104 CFM F140 mm Fans & 2 ARCTIC BioniX F120 69 CFM 120 mm Fans. How do I connect all of these up to take advantage of the PWM PST Sharing Technology?
  7. How will i connect all 5 of my pwm fans properly and the rgb of them along with my pwm cpu cooler when my motherboard only has these connectors? And is that all I need then don't I need another pcie or pci connector for my sound card or anything? 1 x 24-pin ATX main power connector 1 x 8-pin ATX 12V power connector 1 x 4-pin ATX 12V power connector 1 x CPU fan header 1 x water cooling CPU fan header 3 x system fan headers 2 x system fan/water cooling pump headers 2 x addressable LED strip headers 2 x RGB LED strip headers 1 x CPU cooler LED strip/RGB LED strip header 2 x M.2 Socket 3 connectors 6 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors 1 x front panel header 1 x front panel audio header 1 x USB Type-C™ port, with USB 3.2 Gen 2 support 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers 2 x USB 2.0/1.1 headers 1 x Trusted Platform Module (TPM) header (2x6 pin, for the GC-TPM2.0_S module only) 1 x Clear CMOS jumper 2 x temperature sensor headers 1 x Q-Flash Plus button 1 x Thunderbolt™ add-in card connector (Only rev1.1 available)
  8. Yeah it comes with a controller but that's just for controlling the lighting effects I think. What I mean is my mobo has 2 system fan headers not including the cpu one but I will be using 5 fans which are all PWM fans so i'm not sure how i can connect them all up properly? I don't want all my parts to come, i start putting it all together noly to find out I don't have enough cables for stuff that's why i'm asking for help on here beforehand to find out if there are any extra cables etc I am going to need Because I have Razier Tiamat 7.1v2 Headset which apparently works best with a dedicated soundcard because of all the jacks on it. However I got a dac amp box that came with it too but i've left that in the box because it only has a mic in and headphone in hole on it. Confused as to wether I should be plugging all my jacks into my soundcard or just plugging the headphone and mic jack into the dac box and leaving the others or if my onbard sound on my motherboard is better than my sound cards? Here's my motherboard specs if it can help anyone to help me with my original creating post please then obviously the psu, fans, cpu cooler and soundcard all have links above 1 x 24-pin ATX main power connector 1 x 8-pin ATX 12V power connector 1 x 4-pin ATX 12V power connector 1 x CPU fan header 1 x water cooling CPU fan header 3 x system fan headers 2 x system fan/water cooling pump headers 2 x addressable LED strip headers 2 x RGB LED strip headers 1 x CPU cooler LED strip/RGB LED strip header 2 x M.2 Socket 3 connectors 6 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors 1 x front panel header 1 x front panel audio header 1 x USB Type-C™ port, with USB 3.2 Gen 2 support 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers 2 x USB 2.0/1.1 headers 1 x Trusted Platform Module (TPM) header (2x6 pin, for the GC-TPM2.0_S module only) 1 x Clear CMOS jumper 2 x temperature sensor headers 1 x Q-Flash Plus button 1 x Thunderbolt™ add-in card connector (Only rev1.1 available)
  9. So I don't need to buy any fan spliiters or some sort of fan hub or rgb splitters or another pcie or pci cable for my sound card?
  10. Hello.I'm building my first gaming PC and I've ordered all my parts and waiting for them to be delivered. I would just like to know if there's any extra components and/or cables I need to buy for my PSU or anything like zip ties, splitters, extensions, sleeves, Velcro ties etc that I need to buy because of my sound card and all the RGB stuff and fans in my build because I don't know if my PSU or the things I've bought will come with all the cables and stuff that I am going to need or if my motherboard/psu has enough slots/headers etc to power and control everything correctly without needing extra things and also to keep everything nicely organized and tidy hidden away.I'd like to have all my RGB stuff linked up so I can control all the lighting effects either off my motherboards software or a controller thing, whichever is the best way to do it and to be able to control my fans etc whichever is the best way to do them both...?I also still need to buy some thermal paste for the CPU but not sure what the best one to get is?I also need to buy the tools to build my PC but not sure what tools I need apart from a screwdriver that is magnetized? Thanks for taking the time to read through this and help me and sorry for so many questions and all the help I'm asking for it's just because this is going to be my first time building so just want to make sure I've got everything I need ready when I start putting it all together. 11. Thinking about it is going with one of these tower air coolers a safe idea for my motherboard? I travel to friends houses abit with my PC every year. Would I be better off going for an AIO cooler or will I still be ok?
  12. Helloooo!First time builder here looking for some advice on CPU cooler to get please as i'm not fully clued up on what to look for.Prefer not to spend anymore than £100 if that's possible. Would like to stay away from any sort of water cooling. Would prefer an RGB option as the tempered glass on my case is dark tinted so lighting the up inside will make it look quite nice I think.I don't plan on doing any manual overclocking i'd just like to enable the auto overclocking features and leave it at that. I've spent last couple of days looking at CPU coolers I like the look of but just not sure which one(s) are best out of my selection.
