Hello, I want to split the signal from my graphic card to go on both the monitor and TV. My graphic card has HDMI 2.0. I want to buy HDMI splitter to do the trick. The seller of the splitter claims it is compatible with HDMI 1.4. On the website I've checked TV specs and it says "HDMI v1.3 - 2". To sum it up: GPU: HDMI 2.0 TV: HDMI 1.3 - 2? Splitter: HDMI 1.4 Will this work without any delays or other problems? I read the guide and it says to not worry too much about the cable. But in this case if both ends has 2.0 and cable is compatible with 1.4 (according to seller) would that not be a downgrade? Also in my searching i came across HDCP. It has different versions. Does it matter?

Actually I should check that before posting. I've connected other fan to the extension cable on FAN_SYS3 header. It was detected. Which means it's the fan problem. It was first cheap one so I'm not surprised at all. Also I would like to say why i want to control this fan. It's the hard drives cooling fan and it's running at full speed. I'm a little worried if the temperature of hard drives aren't too low. In idle it's 29-31c.

Hello everyone. I bought additional 3 pin case fan (cheap one). It has really short cable so i had to connect it to SYS_FAN3 connector using extension cable. https://www.amazon.com/3-Pin-Fan-Extension-Cable-12/dp/B006MX4B3Q However my BIOS doesn't detect the fan. Fan is spinning at full speed i assume. It's a new MB with 4 pin connectors and it's detecting other 3 pin fans, but not this one. Is it because of the extension cable?

Ok, thank you. I'll just get splittler cable. It's much easier and simple solution.

Hello everyone. I'm often changing from speakers to headphones back and forth many times. I want to have them both active. Yes, I can plug headphones to the front panel, but because doing that turns off speakers I need to unplug it to listen to speakers. I don't want to plug them in and out every 10 minutes... My rear panel layout has only one jack for either speakers or headphones. Others are: mic, side speakers, rear speakers and subwoofer - page 22 in the manual https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/E7B89v1.0.pdf Is there a way to connect both speakers and headphones to rear panel without using jack splitter? Can i change jack function somehow? Do i need realtek control console for it?

Ok so pendrive installer works differently than DVD drive. Does it work differently because it uses USB port and not SATA port like DVD drive? If i connect DVD drive through USB (using adapter cable) will it be treated as USB device, just like pendrive?

Ok, so simple copy won't work. How about creating pendrive image and put it on DVD?

The tool created a "special" installer with added necessary drivers to it. I don't have base install disc with me at the moment to create another one. I want to keep using my pendrive and not have it permanently with installer on it. Not if something unexpected happens. I just want to have backup.

Hello everyone, so i've used a tool and made Windows install USB pendrive. Everything's fine, it worked. So now that I know it's working, I would like to make that pendrive a DVD disc. Can I just do a regular copy pendrive files to DVD, or do i have to create an image or something else?

You're right, not gonna push it. Couldn't find any article or youtube video about someone testing 4 pin cable in 8 pin connector. All i find is people using 4 pin to 8 pin adapter cable. Hello everyone. So I'm setting up new PC and i have a problem... MB has 8 pin CPU power connector, my PSU Pure Power 430W has 4pin. Will it work, or do i have to buy new PSU? It's hard to find any information about that. Many people say it will work, because the extra 4pin is just additional power, but this Ryzen is 95W and 4pin give it more than enough power especially if not OC. Others say it may cause destability or even blue screens. They say if PSU doesn't have 8 pin that means it's old crap and need replace, but this one is not crap. It was very solid at the time.

I read quite a lot about people choosing MSI over Gigabyte. So i think I'll switch too. By watching reviews on youtube, MSI boards has much more to offer than Gigabyte.

Didn't know about it. Now it make sense to upgrade for the final time. 3600 is too much jump in price (on the selling sites in my country) and has same clock speed like 2600x Thank you everyone, if someone have anything to add, please do it. I'll be checking for a while.

So many answers and so fast, thank you everyone. I just noticed i post wrong number with Ryzen. It suppose to be Ryzen 5 2600 not 7, but i hope it's still good. I checked power on the Bequiet website and it showed around 290 power, so i guess will be fine. The GPU i have is powered through PCIe port, without PSU connection. Can I just use already installed W7, or i need to re-install? That's really good information, thank you. It will still work fine, just updating will be impossible, right? I will eventually upgrade, just not a big fan of W10 interface. I mean... I'll have to learn where-is-what again.

Hello everybody, this is my first post so i hope that I'm doing it in the right place. I want upgrade my current CPU Phenom x4 840 to Ryzen 5 2600 or 2600x. Some parts will be from my current PC. This is what i choose: MB: B450M Aorus CPU: Ryzen 7 2600x Memory:16GB DDR4 (2x 8GB) 3200mhz 16CL PSU: beQuiet 430W (from current PC) GPU: GTX 1050 (from current PC) Will this work together? Should i take 2600 or 2600x? I know CPU doesn't support W7, but will this work if I install AMD chipset (USB) drivers provided on Gigabyte website? Also want to mention that I'm not into overclocking anything, just basic usage. Stock cooler with CPU will be enough?
