  1. When I connect the 8 pin only and start the pc, nothing happens at all. When I connect just the 6 pin or both, the GPU starts up and I get the message about connecting the PCIe power cable.. So I guess the 8 pin could be dead? Do you think there is a way to fix that?
  2. Hello guys. My MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G stopped working yesterday. I was doing regular stuff on my computer, while it froze, the display went black and nothing more was happening. I went for a restart and after it, there was a message saying " PLEASE POWER DOWN AND CONNECT THE PCIe POWER CABLE(S) FOR THIS GRAPHICS CARD". I opened the case and noticed a little amount of some unknown liquid on the GPU. - See the attached image > The liquid was where the red circle is. I've cleaned it down, tried to play with the connectors and it still didn't work. My friend tested the cable, the PSU and the power connectors of my GPU with an electrical tester - everything is fine. Fans are working, so is the glowing logo. What do you think, could be the problem and is it possible to fix it? I tried to find some troubleshooting, some people recommended me baking the card but I don't know. Warranty is obviously gone and I would like to get it running once again, do you think it's possible? Thanks for any advice. Dom
