I dont think it is a malware as I have paid McAfee protection. And also I have tried fresh windows install and this issue appears each time. -
I have a lenovo laptop. When I generate sleep-study report on it I have a unregistered device listed as the top offender (picture attached) while in sleep mode. This device is shown as Unregistered Device \_SB.PCI0.SAT0.VOL0 . Moreover its active 100% of the time during the sleep which causes huge battery drain during the sleep. Can you tell me 1> What this device is? 2>why its being active all the time during sleep? 3>how to solve the issue? I have also attached the sleepstudy report for more information. I have also tried fresh install of windows many times, but eventually every time this problem appears after some time. sleepstudy-report.html

I have Lenovo yoga s740 which is around 2 months old. I have issue with its thermal performance. It is running a bit warmer so I want to bump up the cooling fans but I am unable to do so. I have looked into bios, also tried software such as Lenovo vantage, speed fan ,notebook fan control without any success. Please let me know how can I adjust the fan speed manually

Unable to use dedicated graphics card for game GTA 5

I have a lenovo laptop with i7 1065G7 16GB RAM Nvidia MX250 graphics But when I play GTA 5 it uses intel iris graphics as 3d processor. I have tried changing the default graphics processor for the game in nvidia control panel. When I play game task manager shows 3d ussage under the iris graphics. I have attached the task manager screenshots In the first image you can see that on copy is used from nvidia gpu and second image shows that 3d rendering is done by intel iris gpu .. I want to use nvida gpu completely for the game so as to get performance boost.

it has no hdd only ssd and the vibration is only during charging

I got a new lenovo laptop . while charging when I gently brace my finger on its metal body i feel slight vibrations. 1>what are these vibrations? 2>is it normal? 3>Does it make any damage to the laptop?

solid state drive Should SSD be partitioned ?

I want to partition so in case my os crashes in future I dont lose my data. But i heard somewhere that we need to align partitions while partitioning of SSD I dont understand that and how to do this. -
I have got a new laptop with 1TB SSD , 1>I want to know that should/can I partition this SSD or not ?(currently it has one large partition only). 2>If yes what is the best and correct way to partition? 3>Does partitioning have any effect on the performance and life-cycle of the SSD ?

most probably yes as speed while using any other website is considerable slow

On my wifi network I have sophos firewall installed. So the internet speed is limited by using the sophos. But there are some apps and websites like tictoc that work unrestricted at high speed. Any Speed test shows around 10mbps while tictoc works at 40-50 mbps. 1>I want to know the exact reason behind this. 2> Can I use this loophole to speed up rest of my downloads.

I want to ask the effect of 4k display on battery of a laptop as compared to 1080p display. How much difference in battery backup does 4k screen cause. Does running a 4k screen at 1080p resolution will draw same power to 1080p display at same brightness level .(WHY)
