  1. This post is not about an issue, but it's really out of curiosity. So about a month ago i put in some new ram sticks which were supposed to be identical to my old ram. But to my surprise it began to give me blue screens every hour or so. I learned that this was an issue with mixing different sets of ram. But now my computer hasn't had a blue screen in almost 3 weeks without any obvious cause. I'm just wondering why my ram magically fixed itself for no apparent reason.
  2. So I have been watching tutorials on how to install your ssd, and in every video there is a screw inside of the motherboard that is used to install your ssd. But mine looks different, I can't tell if it is just missing the screw or if it is something else. The place that your supposed to screw in the ssd to shown in the attached image. It's probably just a missing screw but I want someone else's opinion first. (I know, it's hella dusty I'm cleaning it tomorrow)
  3. Thanks for the feedback, but by any chance do you know what could cause it to become a faulty unit?
  4. My computer is around 2 years old and I thought that it was time to add some more ram to my computer. This new addition of x2 8gb trident gskill ram is identical to my previous ram and should act the same. After putting the ram in it starts normally, I was amused and instantly went to play the new star wars game. But after about 20 minutes I was startled to see a blue screen. I thought that it might just be a one time occurence but no, my computer continued to blue screen about 20 minutes after I started my pc everytime that I attempted to start it. Not all of the blue screen messages were the same, but they are all linked to ram issues. I am currently playing without the use of my new ram and am only using my old ram. I have no clue as to what is happening nor do I know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.
