  1. Hello everyone. Was wondering if someone could help me decide between 3 monitors or make a suggestion on another. I am currently running a rtx 2070 super with a i7-6700k. I currently have a cheaper 32" 1080p samsung 60hz monitor. I am between the following 3 1440p monitors: 1)Alienware 34 curved (AW3420DW) 2)Samsung 32 Odyssey G7 (LC32G75TQSNXZA) 3)Samsung 27 Odyssey G7 (LC27G75TQSNXZA) Any info would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time stepping up to a "gaming" monitor, so my knowledge and actual experience with the high resolution/refresh rate is only based on youtube.
  2. Hello all, Trying to find out what is causing my issues with the game. Happens in other games but not to the extent that it happens in final fantasy XV. Recently upgrade some components. I will leave a list of components on the bottom. Seems to be worst when there are multiple enemies and a lot going on on the screen. Game settings are set to high, which my system should be able to handle. GPU and CPU usage and temps stay low. Max GPU is around 65%, about the same for CPU. Ram usuage is in the 50% range on avg. Disabled any in game overlays through steam and Nvidia. Disabled the 4 Nvidia hair works, etc settings in game. Have FPS set to 60. Drops to 20 when multiple enemy fights and occasional drops to 0 for a second or so when it freezes. I also shutdown any software running in the background that is not needed. Only things running are for the GPU and corsair can software. Here are my specs Motherboard : Asus TUF Sabertooth Z190 Mark 1 CPU - Intel I7-6700K Ram - 2x8GB GPU - Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Corsair RMx 850i Power Supply Samsung 500GB SSD running game and system. Have HDD and SDD drives, but the game is on the samsung SSD Corsair H115i CPU AIO Windows 10 64bit Pro Any ideas?
  3. Hello everyone. I am planning on purchasing a RTX 2070 Super. Currently new to Linux mint coming from windows 7, been running for about 6 months now. Wondering if I should give in and get windows 10 to reap the full benefits of the card, or if Linux benchmarks are up to par and can continue running mint. Can't seem to find any benchmarks on the 2070 super with linux. Thoughts??
  4. Budget is in the 500-1000 range. But the best bang for the buck is what I am looking for
  5. Hello all. Thinking about slowly upgrading my PC. These are my current specs: -Asus tuf sabertooth z170 mark 1 -16gb ram -Asus GTX 970 Strix -i7-6700K processor Recently picked up the witcher 3 on a steam sale and noticed that I have to run in med graphics in order to maintain my 60 fps. Was wondering on your thoughts for upgrading. Also I am running a Linux mint based system. Everything is air cooled. Thanks
